A Nice solución for solving the hunger problem when visiting the area. The three lunch combos of sizzling beef/chicken/fish are all good choices with the protein and plenty of onions also with the rice and miso soup. One can add additional salad and California roll to make it a nutritious option for dinning with a large amount of dinning choices. There are TVs playing the sports game like football to satisfy the locals' needs. Might try the sushi or sashimi next time.

After a 4.5 mile hike my friend and I headed over to this amazing restaurant to satisfy our starving bellies! Service: 10/10 They were very busy but greeted us quickly and sat us right away (thankfully there was a few places to sit still). Our server was attentive and our food came in a timely manner. It's always great when you get your appetizers in time to enjoy before the main dish came out. Food: 10/10 Please forgive me but I was so hungry I took pics a bit late and dug in first Spicy tuna on crunchy rice and the gyoza was just perfect! The frozen beer was definitely a treat but I enjoyed it more once the slushee beer on top melted. I ordered the dragon roll and even though the eel was the fishest eel I've ever had, I enjoyed it immensely! I ordered with crunchy topping and it was provided on the side. My friend ordered the spicy miso and was surprised he could order non-spicy (which we laughed about) and could pick mild/medium/very spicy! So nice that they appeal to everyone's ability of how they handle spice. Ambience: 10/10 Not a ton of seating but enough to take care of a medium rush. Covered outside seating and inside seating available. Darker decor and gave a nice appeal, great for late night dates. I loved everything about this place and will definitely be back. I recommend to anyone that needs that Japanese cravings taken care of!

The appetizer called monkey brain was really delicious and came in a great portion. The sushi was good and very fulfilling. Service was great. Prices were a little bit on the high side but reasonable. They offered free iced tea or ice cream once you checked in on app.

Kaiba is honestly probably my favorite go to sushi spot around SGV. I neglect to write a review about this place as its been such a hole in the wall that I want to keep as a hole in the wall. The service is great, and the waiters are always super polite. I never had a problem coming here and at this point its almost my go to hangout dinner place if there is ever a thought about getting sushi! The parking lot is a bit small in the back, however there is also street parking that is open!

This is a very busy Kaiba location. We did not have a reservation and were lucky enough to snag the last empty table. The Tonkotsu ramen was rich and flavorful. The rolls and sashimi combo were fresh but the fish was sliced very thinly compared to other places. The staff was attentive and the service was effortless.

Love this sushi spot. Super clean, super fast service, and really attentive staff. Gets packed very quickly after 6pm on weekends, so plan ahead. Amazing quality, solid rolls and variety (not too much, but just enough). Definitely a local favorite. I swear this place has the best salmon sashimi hands down. Its not gamey or chewy, it's nice and buttery soft - every time I order it. They also have drink specials all day, every day... So you are set to drink up and have fun (sake bombs anyone?) While eating amazing quality fish. Honestly, it's all about the fish quality for me, so I won't even talk about the rolls, but they're solid as well.

Really liked the last sushi place that was here before they took it over HOWEVER you can't beat their "Grand Opening" drink specials. $1 for a 12-oz Sapporo. Let's just say I am here OFTEN! The food is good and for the price, can't complain. Rolls are pretty good, taste fresh. Scallops were a tad "fishy" for me. Grilled chicken is definitely my go-to now. 1 or 2 of the servers have the personality of a limp noodle but the others are pretty friendly and attentive. I usually get a really nice kid, Art, and he is good of doing rounds around his section to check on everyone.

Fast and easy pickup, ready on time every time we order out. Loved their hamachi kama, salmon teriyaki rice plate, and the little kids love their karage fried chicken, tempura, and ramen noodles. Wish they had eel donburi though.

I had the tonkatsu ramen and it was delicious. The bowl they bring it in is massive and it's earthenware so your ramen stay hot for a while. I also had the shrimp tempura roll but it looked so good I forgot to grab a picture until I was halfway through it 😅 It tasted just as good as it looked if not better. The wait staff was real friendly and checked in on me frequently, 10/10 customer service. TL:DR One of the better places I've eaten at in awhile. I will be coming back the next time I'm in town.
