Omg their Italian kolaches are to die for. Seriously. Don't get shanked trying to get some. Basically its like a pepperoni pizza kolache and it's so good. Go now. Wish they were open Sunday.

In the last 6 years, I have traversed the great state of Texas. A total of almost 700,000 miles. In the process, I have experienced some of the best eats in Texas. This of course would be an understatement if I excluded the Texas Kolache. Fortunately for you, I did not. As many kolaches as I have eaten across this state in 6 years...NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! beats Mornings Kolaches of Houston Texas. There no one even close! They have multiple locations across Houston. It is worth a pilgrimage, especially for you kolache fanatics.

A short stop here in South Houston. Delicious fruit amd cream cheese kolaches. Also tried a boudain and pepperoni kolache, which were flavorful but a little too much bread for me.

I love these delicious little breakfast pastries and get them all the time. A perfect hand held wake me up or morning snack. The staff is always pleasant and attentive. I always have a good morning when I stop at Mornings Kolaches!

Food was great as always. Staff is nice and friendly. I was able to get off work a little earlier so I could get the joly-peno and boudain which sell out fast. I always buy a dozen. It's better to have s few left over than to finish and be craving more.

Since it was my daughters birthday yesterday.. she wanted a good kolache for breakfast before school.. So I ended up choosing this place after reading a lot of the reviews. When we got there, they had just opened so there wasn't a lot to choose from. My go to is always sausage and cheese. I told my husband that a lot of people in this review section spoke highly of the Jolly Peno ones. He loves anything with jalapeños and then my daughter chose a jolly peno and a sausage and gravy one.
After trying my husbands jolly peno kolache in the parking lot.. I ended up going back in for a couple more.. they are DELICIOUS!! I'm not a spicy person.. but mannnnnn those things are so good. Everyone spoke highly of their kolache choice yesterday so they're all good! So good.. we went back again this morning for another dozen. We went a little later today and they had a couple cream cheese available. They tasted like cheesecake! I think I found my favorite breakfast place!
