Sycamore Grounds Coffee House

This place is a treasure for a programmer. Quiet, peaceful environment, with an infinite supply of reasonably priced delicious coffee, and power outlets! If you're in a hurry, it might not be the best option, though. Those ladies that make the magic happen are artists par excellence, and good art takes time to produce.

I love coming here, everyone for the most part is always nice. The only problem was that the couches were removed after the renovation. I really enjoyed coming here to have a place to relax and work on my homework after a long day at school and I would always see people enjoying those couches. I really do think more coffee shops need more comfortable seating so I hope y’all bring them back!

I came here a lot as a favorite coffee spot and hoped the food would match. The coffee is good however their food is not. I used to love the breakfast sandwich but the past times I’ve gotten the bacon one it’s tasted extremely odd (like gasoline or plastic). Took one bite and spit it out. Hate to leave these kind of reviews but am hoping it will change and get better.

I was there for the 3-D coffee art. Unfortunately the person who did that worked there long time ago, so no more 3D coffee art. However, it is still a great spot for coffee. Tucked away from the busy roads, hidden in a neighborhood, quiet and lovely. I tried their tea flight today, highly recommended, $8 for a tea flight, you get to sample 4 iced tea, very refreshing for the summer.

I’m currently visiting Pasadena with my husband who is on a work trip. I always look for local coffee shops to visit when I’m in other towns. I found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. There is a lot of atmosphere inside and outside of the building. The barista was friendly and helped me as soon as I walked in. I ordered a white chocolate peppermint mocha with two extra shots and a slice of coffee cake. There are a few little tables and a couch area for sitting. It’s not a huge place inside but they do have several tables outside for sitting during nice weather days. My coffee and food came out quickly. It was delicious! Not overwhelmingly sweet which I loved! Today is day two of my trip and I’ve been looking for another coffee shop to visit but I may just return to Sycamore Grounds!
