Papa Yolk's Grill

7/2023 - They have breakfast buffet but I haven't tried it. Breakfast tacos are big and tasty. Salsa is extra charge. Biscuits and gravy are good. I was pleased to be able to get half order. Nice sausage patties...not too much sage. Egg over easy without runny whites was cooked to order. Three people ate for $30.

My first visit and the service was superb and the breakfast was excellent! I ordered my usual eggs, bacon, hash browns, but this time and place has an option of half grits and half hash browns. I always hate having to pick one or the other because I like both. Now I can have both without wasting or overeating. This place was touted as the best breakfast in Houston and I totally agree!!

Best breakfast place in the Pasadena/Deer Park area! I get the veggie omelette with spinach and side of homemade salsa, and then the half order of French toast! So good. The meals come with either grits or hash browns (or half of each) and then toast or biscuits! JUST FYI- the biscuits are more like rolls? Or like.. between a roll and a biscuit. It’s my least favorite thing they have because I really love regular biscuits lol. The entire waitstaff is so kind and helpful. We eat there frequently and adore everyone. I’d recommend to anyone for sure.

I really liked this place! Have been twice in about a week. The breakfast is nothing fancy, but it's really good home cooking. It tastes like what you'd make for your own family. Service has been great both times. I would be happy to go back again and recommend it to someone looking for a good breakfast spot!

This is the best breakfast I have ever eaten and the service from all the staff was excellent!! You just don’t see this kind of hospitality anymore and from the minute I walked into the place I felt like I was back home with family! I ordered the chicken fried steak and two eggs with hash browns and a side order of biscuits and gravy. The best biscuits and gravy I have had in awhile and that goes for the eggs too that were cooked to perfection!! I am still in a bit of a shock due to how great the food was and how the staff treated me like they have known me my entire life! I Highly recommend this down home cooking with excellent hospitality and I will be back again!! Thanks again for the great food and service!

We are customers for life! Everyone needs a great breakfast spot and I have 10000000000% found ours! The prices were great for the quality of the food and I felt the portions were awesome! I had leftovers to eat on for a couple days for sure. I absolutely love that you have the option to have a half and half order of grits and hash browns instead of being limited to just one or the other. Our server was so great and helpful. She made suggestions to me about how I should order since I couldn't decide on anything and I wanted to try everything. I can't wait to go back and bring our family with us.
