Shan Shan Noodles

Great spot for authentic handmade Chinese noodles and dishes. Came here after going to a gym in the area and decided to eat out here since I'm not in the area that often. GF suggested this spot and away we went. Immediately as we walked in the matriarch was super friendly, gave us a table with plenty of room and bought in some complimentary green tea? Not 100% sure, could have been oolong it was a bit weak. Very friendly and walked us through the menu and any questions we had. I decided on getting the Beef Pancake with scallions, Cumin Lamb Hand Rolled Noodles, and the Shrimp Fried Hand Rolled Noodles. The Beef Pancake was exemplary! Absolutely delicious, rolled in a crispy wheat bread and seasoned really well. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone. The Cumin Lamb was good, I paid a little more for extra meat. Strong hit of cumin in this dish so if you're not into that I'd advise you to avoid it. I liked it, the broth was well seasoned as well. Only small issue was that my dish was luke-warm when it came out and the noodles did taste a little chewy and old. I ordered another one for takeaway and that was at a good temperature. The Shrimp Fried Noodles were a big hit with my girl, she loved it and finished her entire dish. That's usually rare, especially with the amount of food this place gives. We also got the Matcha Smoothie with less sugar and it was good as well. They own a bakery one store down from where they are and bring their sweets/drinks in from there. Great spot I'd highly recommend, super friendly owner and staff. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in the area.

Those beef scallion pancakes are to die for. Great soup dumplings too. Did I mention those noodles are made fresh right in front of you? The whole family loved all the dishes we ordered and made sure to get seconds. This store looks family run. Hard working and kind, I hope this store does well for the long future.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to! Food was INCREDIBLE. So fresh and so flavorful. Noodles were freshly made! The service was so kind and fast. The owner of the store was so friendly and sweet! Prices were very reasonable too. Definitely coming back here!

First time here, been looking forward to it for a while. Upon walking in the woman who greeted us was excited and personable. She gave us our menus and waited for our order while chatting a bit. Tried some of the more basic dishes for our first time there but will order more next time we go. The beef roll was excellent and our 8 month old loves the pancake part of it. The pan fried dumplings were great. Both of our noodle dishes were better than I was expecting but the highlight was definitely at the end of the meal our waitress chatted with us a bit and wound up hand chopping some noodles for our 8 month old to try and she loved them. This is a special little place that I hope stays around a long time. We will definitely be back soon.

I usually don't like noodles, but I really enjoyed the texture of these hand-pulled noodles as they were chewy and not soggy at all. I loved the flavor of the cold chicken and the lamb burger was so good too. Service was also nice 😊
