My kids and I absolutely LOVE this place!!! Besides how delicious the ice cream is, it’s the coolest thing in the world watching it get made and frozen right in front of your eyes. There are so many flavors to choose from and so many toppings. But the part where it gets frozen with nitrogen just never gets old. It’s mesmerizingly captivating. And the service is great!!! I’m from out of town, but whenever we’re back in Parkland, we’ll be sure to visit Sweet Lou’s for some nitrogen ice cream. We’re hooked!!!

This place is a blast. Literally. Fresh cream, delicious toppings and your choice of flavors, blasted with nitrogen and turned into the freshest ice cream on the planet, right before your eyes. Sub Zero has put the fun back into ice cream. It's just as much a show, as it is a delicious treat.....and they can cater your next party, which is something that most ice cream shops can't pull off!!

Awesome experience in here. They let you watch the entire process. The front counter is nice and open area so the view is great. Definitely bring your family here some time for a nice ice cream treat. Friendly staff and a wide variety of flavors and choices. I'm a cookies and cream lover so they were able to make it happen. You should find any flavor your looking for here.

This is one of those experience places. I didn't think that the ice cream was incredibly better than other places, but it was worth the show. Good selection of toppings and flavors. Fair prices and a good amount of seating. It's also in a great spot - clean and quiet.

I had previously tried one of these nitrogen ice cream places in Ft. Lauderdale and really loved the concept so I was eager to take my daughter when she came home from college. Unfortunately for me I live on one side of University Dr. and this store is on the other side. Until Parkland in willing to allow a University Road extension this place is a bit of a hike for me and will probably keep me from going on a regular basis even though I loved it. Like the other place a tried which is in no way affiliated with this business, nitrogen is used to super cool the base liquid with toppings added into ice cream. Mixers were used at the other places and here the girls working the counter were forced to do it by hand giving them a great arm work out. The thing I liked better about this place was there were way more options for your creation. To start with there are 7 base options including non dairy and sugar free. There are a whopping 43 base flavor options, broken into three flavor categories fruity, classic, and specialty. Under specialty there was even a flavor called tigers blood. Add to that 34 topping possibilities and the combinations you can make are endless. I was too tired to come up with a masterpiece which is why I was really glad that they did the thinking for me with their ready made combinations called sensations. A small is $5.69 and includes the waffle bowl. I picked the magnetic mint which was mint flavor, oreo, andes mints, and fudge topping. My daughter chose the Bernoulli Brulee which was caramel, dulce de leche, vanila and cinnamon flavor, heath, and twix. We both loved our ice cream. Every bite had some of the toppings in it. The staff here were super friendly. Once you try one of these fun nitrogen places it's hard to go back to a boring regular ice cream shop. I find that I prefer the texture of the ice cream that the quick freeze of the nitrogen gives it. They will even refreeze your treat for you if it starts to melt!
