Grand Lux Cafe

First time there and probably won't come back. Might give it another chance but not a great first impression. I thought food wasn't bad and prices not too bad either. 30 minute wait around 7:30 pm on a Tuesday which is fine. All the food we ended up getting was a second choice. Appetizers we wanted, they did not have. The entrees we saw and were craving they also did not have. The food we did get was pretty good but not something we really wanted. We got our Appetizers and no utensils, had to ask for them. Then he came back with 1 fork for each with no napkins. It was just a weird night, maybe just an off night for them.

It’s not my first time eating here but I was really happy with everything I got this visit. The food had great flavor and variety of options. The prices are very reasonable and you get a good portion size for what you pay. The restaurant has great staff and a great atmosphere to compliment the food. I also have to shout out my server Kelly who did a PHENOMENAL job serving my table. She was attentive, friendly, fast, and on top of her game. Kelly I can tell is great working with people and was so happy with the service she provided. Can’t wait to go back.

It was my first time at this location and it reminds me of an upper scale Cheesecake Factory so I was impressed by their selections. We had a mid-afternoon visit so we were still in the lunch crowd and before the dinner rush. But overall the service was great as we were a party of 8 and the food arrived on time and was delicious. I plan on making a return trip here in the near future. So if you are going to the Garden State Plaza Mall then go over to Grand Luxe Cafe and you will not be disappointed!

It was my first time at Grand Lux Cafe and the experience was good. The food and desert was good and the alcoholic drinks were strong. I’m not sure if the bartender was heavy handed that day but the drink had us buzzing. People compare this to the Cheese Cake Factory, but I feel like the food and serving size is bigger and better at Cheese Cake’s. However, that is my personal opinion. Pros: They have free parking.

It was a great restaurant, we sat at the bar and the bartender was amazing. The drinks was delicious and he even helped me decide the best appetizer based off how hungry I was. I loved it and I am definitely coming back. The staff was also super helpful. So I had to update this review because it is definitely one of my favorite and a restaurants and I plan to visit frequently. We got the same bartender again and I have to give him all the props. His name is Mike, he know his drinks and the best suggestions for your appetite. If that don't win you over he has a drink he created called The Golden Apple. I had a plate of Jambalaya with it.

The Grand Luxe Cafe is an absolute amazing first class restaurant that offers guests a variety of delicious dishes and superb customer service!!! In March of 2022, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Grand Luxe Cafe, specifically the branch based in Paramus, New Jersey, and we very much enjoyed our dining experience. We were warmly welcomed and treated by the restaurant’s staff and provided with comfortable seating fairly quickly. Our waitress, Sam S was very courteous, highly attentive and did a superb job in taking our orders and addressing our concerns. Both my wife I very much enjoyed our meal, starting with our bread based offering, taco based appetizer and our entree selections!!! Everything was tasty delicious, and timely served. When it comes entrees, my wife ordered a steak and I ordered a hamburger based meal. Both our entrees was well seasoned, impeccably scrumptious and highly satisfying!!! Both my wife and I would love to thank the Grand Luxe Cafe for providing us with a great dining experience and recommend for everyone to visit and dine at this wonderful restaurant!!!

Good food as always! I like the spaghetti more than other dishes. Especially the chicken parm. Chicken was good but for me the flavor was too strong - too much soy source and too much sweetening. I asked for brown rice but they forgot and got me a white rice. I’m not too picky in food so happily accepted the white rice. Overall good experience, I’d recommend.
