Potbelly Sandwich Shop

Sandwiches were great, bread just right and fresh ingredients. When we got there there was only one person working the counter and one on break. But apparently 3 more either showed up or came from the back while we were there. Point being we couldn't find a clean table, we wiped one down ourselves. They did have a covid measures sign that stated they keep common areas wiped down.... seems like a good place for tasty sandwiches, I may give it another chance to see if the messy tables was a rare occurrence.

The food wasn't bad, but the cleanliness and customer service could use some improvement. The soda machine was leaking all over the floor and had flat soda. When I brought this to the attention of the employees, they acted like they couldn't be bothered. Even the best food can't make up for bad customer service, in my opinion.

Had order delivered that part was good. The two sandwiches ordered, turkey and roast beef both had a weird taste almost like the meat was going bad, very disappointed we were looking forward to eating some good sandwiches. The best part of the meal were the pickles and the bottled sodas. Will not be ordering from here again, 46 dollars for a couple of pickles and 4 sodas was a bit much. But I guess you live and learn

There so called online menu is there catering menu for groups. I could not find anywhere a listing of all of there sandwiches just a few of the skinless that's it. I did not see a list of what soups they have for a take out, curbside for an individual. Second issue is on there drink menu they have unsweetened ice tea, I am an intelligent person the term unsweetened is drumming down the language, because how can something be unsweetened when it does not have it to begin with. For most of my life when you would order ice tea that is what you got ice tea NOTHING ADDED TO IT, depending on the place you might get a lemon wedge added with your drink. If your from the southern states they normally drank Sweet Tea and life was fine, your choice was Ice Tea or Sweet Tea NOT UNSWEETENED TEA. Then along came McDonald's and spoiled life by dumming down English language by coming up with the term UNSWEETENED. If you could possibly tell me how can you declare something is unsweetened when it never had the sweeten in the first place.
