I didn't know this place existed until a friend told me about it. I stopped in for take out. The prices are on the low side and the food was great! I think this is the best egg roll I've ever had! Beware: they only take cash or checks.
Still good as ever. We have eaten here at least 50 times, and never a bad meal. Thank you Ming's for being the picture of constancy with food that is always hot, fresh and ready super fast. And still the very best value out there!

Every time I have eaten at Mings the food was terrific. The complete staff was welcoming and always tentative to all the customers.

Ming's is the best. Big portions for little prices and the food is always hot and delicious. Oh, and it usually take less than 5 minutes to get your food once you order, big plus for families.

Love Ming's! Haven't been there in awhile because of distance from my home and the negative reviews have me worried, but I'm going to make the drive. I will let you know if I am disappointed. Later...I was not disappointed and neither were family members. Everything was delicious!

It was very delightful and the sesame chicken was heavenly. The servings were filling if your a big eater and though I didn't pay for it, the prices seemed good. In a short, sweet, and to the point sort of way:good food,good service,great prices:).
A great value.. I have been going there for a very long time.Sure the atmosphere is cafeteria style,but the staff is great.The food is enjoyable and the order comes to your table fast and hot.I have been to oriental style restaurants around the country,and this one is up there.

Best dirt cheap Chinese in town. Like the Hunan Palace nearby in Papillion, this restaurant is also a classic among my family. We have been coming here for years. My grandparents were familiar with the owner and his wife when they were always around and we went here more often. This has some oriental decorations but what catches your eye when you walk in is the fish tank with colorful fish. Most dishes you get here come with fried or steamed rice with some kind of mix of mushrooms, carrots, pea pods, and broccoli all cooked. I like the Dragon and Phoenix which is shrimp and chicken. I also like the seafood delight I think is what its called. It has shrimp scallops and other seafood plus the vegetables and rice. The spicy Chinese dishes here are not as much my favorite but the other ones are really good. I must say be a little careful what you pick out. Don't go too adventurous here. If you stick to what you know and stuff thats not so spicy here you will probs pick a good meal. Service here is pretty decent.
Food was ok... Has flavor, but I'm use to authentic Chinese noodles rather then Italian. It has really decent prices and good service and the portions are generous, but I've had better :(

Great!. My mom used to take me there as a kid all the time. I loved it as a kid and now even though we moved and I'm older I still love it and love to eat there when I go back to visit!
Chinese value. Haven't eaten at Mings in a couple of years so I stopped by for lunch today. Food was good. Hot, fresh, and flavorful. There is no doubt there are chinese restaurants in town with better food but Ming's puts out pretty good food for $5 per entree. Definitely a good lunch value.
LOVE IT!!!. Ming's is one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. i love the atmosphere, service, food,price, and food arrival time. the workers remember not only their costumers but also their orders. i also like how they are closed on Sundays in order to let the workers spend time with their families. keep it up guys
One of the best. I have been eating at Mings for at least 8 years now and have NEVER had a bad meal.. Its always GREAT.. I consider this to be the GO TO place for chinese in the Omaha metro and surrounding areas. the price never played into my eating here, just the Great food. It is however very reasonable. why anyone would negatively review this place is beyond me!!
A Papillion tradition. I've grown up with Ming's just a little down the road from me- and I've always loved it. You cannot beat Ming's price or people. Be forewarned- Check or Cash only!! It's one way they keep their prices so low- but their quality is still fantastic. (There is an ATM on-site if you need).
The portions are plenty big, so you have enough if you're a big eater- or leftovers if you eat small.
Enjoy some crab rangoon while you wait for your meal. Most items marked as spicy are typically "medium", so don't expect anything to burn your tongue off. If I can handle the hot crispy pork, anyone can!
Are they the best Chinese in the world? No, I've had some places that are tastier. However, the quality of food for the price is pretty darn impressive. Most main courses are 5.25 or less... some even $4!!
So give it a try and enjoy their friendly staff. A second trip may be in your plans.
Mings is delicious and cheap! The workers remember customers and are super friendly! I'd much prefer this place over a fancier Chinese place.

Ming's is great chinese, if you can hit them when they're open. Ming's is great! The food is always fresh and delicious, and they have what I consider to be the best egg rolls in Omaha. The atmosphere is not the greatest, and make sure to call ahead before you go if you've never been before (the hours are weird) and bring cash (they don't take any cards here).
Great food for an unbeatable price. Best Chinese restaurant in the Omaha area. Some of the food items are keto friendly. The staff is always nice and food is served very quickly, even when they are busy. Can't recommend this place enough.

I got the Egg Foo Young the first time, it was quite good and had stuff all over it like pieces of pork in gravy and onions I think, and the patties tasted like both Egg Foo Young and Egg Roll filling with Cabbage in it I believe with the egg. It was a decent touch.
This time I had Kung Pao Shrimp with 5 fried dumplings. I get fried rice each time although what I notice about the fried rice is, it seems more sticky or not like its fried right off the grill. Thats my only complaint about the fried rice but the dishes they make, they're made with total love. They are great. Even the rice is good too it just doesn't have as much in it and tends to not feel too fried. Better if you don't like grease I guess.
I got pictures today of the food I got. Cooked to perfection, they give a good amount of shrimp as you see and big sized as well.
This place used to cater lunches at my job (pre-covid) and they had the most delicious options! The eggrolls were perfectly crispy, the dipping sauces were amazing and the food was super filling and flavorful!

Recently had my first visit with a friend after hearing endless positive testimonials. I was surprised by how cheap the meals were and portion sizes. The café styled seating environment felt very casual and welcoming. Additionally, the staff is always quick, polite, and professional. I have already made several return visits and will continue spreading the word!
You won't find a better family owned feeling anywhere. Owner is amazing, food is amazing quality and they're fast. Prices are beyond reasonable. I suggest the hot and crispy OR peanut butter chicken.
