Firefly is an amazing fine dining experience! I returned to Panama City for a special occasion and wanted to top it off with a great dining experience, and after looking at several places, I settled on this one... and I'm so glad I did.
The atmosphere is phenomenal! They have nice spacious lounge areas if you just want to hang out for a drink. The dining area is beautiful. The big lighted tree adds a special ambiance. The courses were perfectly timed, and the service was remarkable! Our server "Molly" was terrific! She knew everything about the menu and was very helpful with recommendations.
The food here was absolutely next level. Everything on the menu sounded great, and we weren't disappointed with any dish we ordered. I can't wait to come back here again and try more of their dishes.
This is a hidden gem in the Panama Beach city area.
We dined here on a Friday night. We had reservations, we were greeted and seated promptly.
This restaurant is rather large, with multiple room areas.
The area we were seated did not provide for the ideal dining ambiance, but the other areas of the restaurant surely do.
For starter I ordered the She Crab, what a great selection, a soup with well balanced flavors, Yummy.
My main course, the Traditional Caesar Salad, served on a shell was well prepared but perhaps a bit too much of a dressing.
My dining companion had the Shrimp Alfredo, he was happy with his selection.
I will patronize this establishment again.

This was a very pleasant experience and Cecilia our waitress was great! We started with some Beer and Wine with Calamari Appetizer which was very good. The elk was out of this world delicious as well as the Filet and Seared Scallops! Overall great meal we both enjoyed and will return next time we are in town!! Don't come unless your ready spend a little more but it was definitely worth it.

It was a pretty busy Friday night and everything showed up in a pretty reasonable amount of time. They prefer your courses so you don't feel rushed, probably good to know if you are in a hurry to eat... This might not be the place. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, the appetizers were phenomenal, and the drinks were mixed well. All in all, one of the best places we ate on our vacation to PCB. definitely worth a try!
Some of the best food around PCB, but feels like it's lacking a clear identity.
Casual fine dining is a good description; you can get a great meal and a nice night out without being super fancy. What feels a bit off is that the space is one third a really nice back room dining area, one third bar/lounge, and one third sushi restaurant. Like almost trying to do too much under one roof.
Still, I think it's a good choice for a night out. Scallops and risotto were both perfectly done, and a very respectable whiskey list.
No surprise we rate it a 10! Atmosphere, server, high quality of food/preparation, cocktails and dessert. We're new residents of PCB and had heard so many great things about Firefly and dined there last night. It lived up to the things we had heard about and even more! The atmosphere is beautiful with the tree and lights, our server, Ella was so attentive and pleasant and made great recommendations. Particularly as my wonderful friend loves Sushi and the menu is vast. She was like a kid in a candy store!
I ordered the filet, medium rare and it was as tender as those I've been served at Ruth's Chris. Excellent! We ordered the trio dessert sampler; Key Lime pie, creme brulee and raspbery white chocolate bread pudding. Topped off with a liqueur coffee drink.

Amazing ambience and atmosphere. We were in the room with the tree and all the lights. We had a nice dinner date and enjoyed a night out without the kids.
We had the crème brûlée for dessert which was amazing! We both ordered steaks but 2 different types and it was very good!
We would definitely come back next time we come into town.
The best steak I've had!! The fried calamari was delicious as an appetizer, along with the bread and three spreads. Amazing creme brulee. Beautiful setting - I loved the tree and lights, the mural, etc.
Entire family is here to celebrate 50th birthday for a family member. Nice food, friendly staff, and fine dining experience. Service could be refined further for the best customer experience, especially ordering and wait time. Highly recommend!
