Breadsmith

I was treated so poorly at this Palos heights bread smith. I intended to buy quite a few items, but when I asked the woman to cut a cheddar loaf in half to share with my neighbor, she made such a big deal about how she doesn't do that. How much trouble that would be. So, I told her forget the whole order. I walked out. I see this local business is not looking for community support. They must be doing ok without my order. I thought I would support my local business. But she didn't want it.

Great place with a fresh product. Bread is made in house every morning and use simple ingredients. No preservatives or additives. Very nice and welcoming workers, you can tell they love their jobs. Great organic and local product would recommend to anyone and everyone. They not only have bread but some dessert breads and plenty of sweets to go around and its all delicious!

Breadsmith ftw! This small bread-ery is fabulous. There is not an overwhelming amount of choices but what they do have is great. The ladies and gentleman working there are friendly and patient. They offer samples which have not disappointed. The blueberry pie bread is insanely delicious. Honey white is sooooo tasty. This place is totally out of the way. Only stumbled into it because I needed the UPS store one day, and what a lucky surprise. We will definitely be back.

I go there once or twice a month and am NEVER disappointed. Both their dessert and regular breads are delicious. Last week I tried their pineapple orange cupcakes and they r delicious, unfrosted and the moistest I’ve ever eaten. They make them on tuesdays and other types throughout the week. I ordered some of them to pick up Tuesday. I always pre order at Breadsmith because things fly off the shelves . sometimes their Thursday special bake , freedom bread, which is oil free and yummy, is gone before noon if u don’t pre order
