Denny's

Had a great breakfast with family. Robert took excellent care of us. I had the Grand Slamwich with fresh avocado and tots. The sammich was great but the tots...holy moly the were excellent. First cup of coffee tasted old, and Robert had us fresh cups out almost as quickly as we mentioned it. **Update. Returned on 7.19. Had awesome service from Ana and the Tres Leches pancakes. Holy MOLY it was delicious. Seriously, the best item I have had there.**

Placed an online order last night, arrived there 20 minutes later, walled in to pick it up, only to get "sorry, your order was not supposed to go through, we are closed. They are working on the kitchen".... The order did go through, I got anconfirmation, and an emailed receipt. Of course "working in the kitchen" did not stop them from charging me for the order. (The charge is still pending on my credit card). Tried to place an online order tonight, BUT their website is down. So I called, the lady who answered said "yes, we are taking orders but only online". "But Your website is down"... I got the "at this time, we are not accepting phone orders... at this time". Did I hear something about restaurant owners complaining that business is slow, and whining about the lockdown???.. Well, here is one restaurant that is turning customers away!
