11.24.2023 After hiking the Willow Creek Trail to Hidden Lake and Round Valley Loop in Mount San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness, we reward ourselves with a nice late lunch at the Peaks restaurant. We enjoyed the panoramic view from our table. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Such a lovely night. We arrived around 11pm and walked in to make a reservation for dinner. From there we went on the trails around there and visited the museum. When dinner time came it was a nice atmosphere the drinks are good as well as the vegetarian curry. Highly recommend for a nice date night
My wife and I had a lovely experience start to finish. All the staff are so kind and genuinely helpful. The ambiance is top notch, and we melted into our seats as the sun went down and the lights went on in the valley. Wedge salad to start was big enough for us two to share. Wife's meatloaf was enormous and had wonderful accompaniments. Both of us did not, however, care for whatever spice seemed to rule this recipe. Had some overbearing taste I could not get with, wife too. I had the ribeye, which, despite being undercooked, was delicious. I like a medium steak, but it was barely med rare. We have a strict no food sent back policy, so I went with it. Sides were delicious. We didn't leave hungry despite not caring for the one dish. We finished with caramel cheesecake, which was killer delicious. The views are award winning, and the ride up and back is a bicker list item. I'd come back just to sit and watch another sunset at dinner.

We were just looking for something to do near Palm Springs. I’ve heard about the tramway from some friends. it would be something to check out. We were extremely surprised by the beauty. And at the top we found peak’s restaurant. Wow we really enjoyed the view. The food was delicious. If you have an afternoon free and are not in a hurry. Peaks restaurant is a definite place to go.
Tram ride up was amazing. Spectacular views. We had an early lunch at Peaks restaurant. We got right in and settled at a nice table for two. Spicy margarita was amazing. Lunch was also good. Mac n cheese, fries, soup, bruschetta, and berry creme brulee all delicious. Wait staff provided excellent service.
Great panoramic view one of the best that I’ve been to.
The food was good but not above and beyond, it was decent.
We tried several dishes like the Mediterranean bruschetta, duck confit flatbread, and the charred shrimp etc…
I give it 4 out of 5 stars. The view was the best part of this experience.
Peaks restaurant was great. It played Frank Sinatra and some other old great music. My older children loved it as much as I did. The food was great and I had a glass of Merlot to go with the meatloaf which was recommended.
Wait time was a bit long but only due to a large group taking a lot of tables. The service was great, prices a lot less than I thought and food was good, just a huge burger to eat. The views from the table are wonderful.
Cocktails/drinks – The Spicy Desert Pear, Margarita, Raspberry iced tea, and a Lemondrop Martini- AMAZING!
Appetizers - Hummus & Tapenade, along with Mediterranean Bruschetta - DELISH!
Soup - who orders soup? We did! The corn soup was so good it made you want to lick the bowl ( but we didn’t LOL )
Dinner meals - Puttanesca with Grilled Shrimp - Very very tasty! The shrimp was cooked to perfection. The Autumn salad - perfectly dressed not too much not too little, very fresh. Fillet of beef, 8oz - this fillet was the best I’ve ever had. It was melt in your mouth delicious you could cut it with a fork.
Believe it or not, we made room for Dessert - we shared the Apple Brown Butter Tart. The perfect end to the perfect meal. I also have to give a big shout out to Nate our waiter. He was amazing. Pssst.. thanks for that fillet recommendation Nate - top notch!!
Don’t hesitate to make a reservation!
Awesome view, huge portions. The food tastes ok, but looks nice.
Place is expensive as I can imagine it’s tough to bring all the food up to the mountain.
Our server was very attentive and even showed some interest in language we spoke.
