We were last person to get the table and it was Monday night so there wasn’t ant waiting. The patio and the bar open to patio was really nice. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo and penne pesto both were good and the portions were huge! They bring you bread with olive oil and balsamic which was nice. Price was really good and reasonable 47 bucks for huge meal with no drink or anything else. Btw there is no bathroom in the restaurant.
This is a gem in the heart of downtown Palm Springs! We came here for dinner with some friends and were impressed by the food and service at Kalura. We got complementary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar while we waited for our food. The caprese was a light and refreshing appetizer!
We got the penne pollo e pesto and the spaghetti carbonara. The pesto was so creamy and dreamy and the carbonara was indulgent!
The vibes in the restaurant were great! We can’t wait to be back!
Outstanding dinner. Patio ambiance was perfect for a Friday night. Cocktails, dinner and dessert were all packed and loaded with flavor. Pomegranate martini, pasta bolognese, and chocolate cake were scrumptious. A definite favorite.
Visiting Palm Springs for the first time so totally picked random!! Really cute atmosphere at night for family’s, couples and large groups. We chose to sit outside which was nicely lit. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was UNREAL. I opted for a seafood dish which I typically rate on how much seafood is actually in my dish and it does not disappoint I’d say a piece of seafood per mouthful. A family member chose the carbonara, which was delicious!!! It may not be for everybody as I’d describe it as rich is flavour (garlic) but personally it’s one of the best I’ve had on this trip. Other dishes included a tortellini dish and vegetarian pizza. The tortellini was in the smaller portion size and I would say and the pizza was thick crust.
I would recommend going as we also didn’t need to book but did go on a Monday evening around 8pm
This authentic Italian restaurant is in a historic building with delicious food and great service. We were greeted warmly on a busy day, Christmas Day!
The whole area was buzzing and all restaurants were quite packed. We locked out and got a table right away. They have a very nice patio as well!
We have ordered pizza and Pasta and they were both very delicious. They had a yummy gluten-free penne, and I also enjoyed a cup of cappuccino on a beautiful warm December afternoon.
There is a nice bar in the middle of restaurant for a casual drink & dine as well.
Overall it's a good place it was probably just our experience/waiter.
The food was 20 out of 10 it was amazing delicious and greatest Italian food in palm springs that I've tried, we sat outdoors and it was so pretty and nice, yes it's by the road but the atmosphere it's perfect and beautiful.
This is the problem, the service wasn't the best. Our waitress wasn't attentive towards our party, asked for more water didn't get it and had to ask for it from someone else, same thing happened with asking for cheese for the bread, but when we got it we barely got any which was fine but then a little later we saw someone else with a whole plate of cheese. It was busy but it's still kind of disappointing for such a nice place.
Overall like I said I would recommend it and I think you should definitely come to satisfy your Italian needs!
(Note there isn't a bathroom in the restaurant it's right next to it at the toffee store, not the biggest issue it's just that there's only 1 single bathroom)
Great location. Sit on the patio! Wait staff is super attentive. Always there if you need them. The food was good… not great. I love Italian food. This was just Meh! Or maybe I should say…. Not to my liking! I’d go back if I was in the area. It just wouldn’t be my first choice.
Live Laugh Love. These are the tenants which I live by in this crazzzzyyy world we live in. It's my birthday and I'll get it twisted if I want. I'll cry too. He told her that in the hallway, I got so frustrated, and Tyler did. See this is why, actually I like that shirt. I'm dating rhis guy omg all day long. Peanuts. Amen.
Food is great! One of the best Italian spots I have found in the US! Staff is friendly but not overly “in your face.” They recognized us after a few times and always made jokes. Lovely spot!
Been in the desert for over a decade, thought I have been to every Italian restaurant as it is my favorite. Somehow, I missed this gem, went with my daughter and her friend who are home from college on spring break. All three of us had pasta dishes that were elegant, simple, and fabulous. Reasonable prices Right in the center of town. I wasn’t here the night they had music but heard it’s an added bonus. Homemade crème brûlée was probably one of the best I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back.
