I'm a foodie and a perfectionist so I know I can be harsh with my reviews, however this place was great. My wife had eaten here previously and raved about it, but this was my first time. We ordered the chipotle fries (fantastic), and the grouper nuggets (also great). The chipotle fries had a great flavor, and we'd definitely get them again. The grouper nuggets were lightly breaded and fried to perfection. The onion rings were great as well. I hate tartar sauce and sat it on the end of the table to ensure I didn't mistake it for something else, however it looked smoother than anything other tartar sauce I've ever seen or tried. I tried it and ate the entire thing. What just happened?! I'll return to say the least.

We have been Barfly fans since they first opened their bar in Safety Harbor. We were glad to hear there was one closer to home. What a disappointment! The service was lousy, and the place wasn't even half filled. How can you screw up u-peel shrimp? They were terrible. We had to fight every one to get all the shell off. The clam chowder should be called potato soup because that's all that was in it. Needless to say we'll drive the extra miles to get the good quality and service down in Safety Harbor.
