Leopard Lounge

Located on palmbeach, in the Chesterfield hotel is the Leopard Lounge. This place has just the right amount of opulence and swank one might expect from of the islands restaurants. With heavily lacquered decor, vinyl laden seating which brings back memories of great grandma’s sofa from the early 80’s and hand painted murals on the ceiling, your are transported to what feels like a meal about to take place at the turn of the century. For a Friday evening in the winter time it was surprisingly empty. Perhaps due to the current state of corona affairs and the crowd that normally visits being on the elder side? Due to lower numbers, they menu was admittedly limited from our server, with a small variety of American fare dishes. The younger gentleman was extremely friendly and accommodating, so a plus on the service front. Being in a particularly carnivorous mood on this night, the table had both the prime strip and the veal chop captured in this photo. Both were cooked rather well, to a temp just right, well flavored and great texture/tenderness. The sides were all interchangeable with the cream spinach being the best of the four we tried. Whether is after your meal, or if you’re there for cocktails, there is a dance floor in the middle of the room where you can either join or watch the middle and upper ages get down to some 70/80’s classics. It surely is a PB scene to be experienced at least once. This should be 4.5 stars, not quite the 5 mark but very enjoyable

The bartenders, hostess and host were absolutely wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful. I had pan seared salmon with mashed potatoes and spinach. Exquisite. A place for the regular crew. This was my first time there. Many adroit dancers. The ladies dress to impress and the men do so mostly but there was a man with a backward baseball cap on his head...a middle aged man. Not what I would expect at such a fine restaurant and lounge. Take a little stroll in the lobby. Lovely Morano chandelier hangs in lobby. Just exquisite.

My sister and I had late afternoon lunch here on Easter Sunday. It was our first visit and we were impressed by the way we were greeted and shown to a table. Our waiter, Ernst, was very nice and very helpful. The room is beautiful with the custom painted ceiling, dance floor, grand piano, mirror-filled bar and lovely orchids on each table. I ordered the Salmon Eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the salmon was like lox. So tasty with the hollandaise sauce. The English muffin was also cooked perfectly. 3pm was the perfect time to visit since I do not like crowded places due to covid. Stop by this place for any meal and you will not be disappointed. Their food is delicious and the staff are friendly and provide good service. I have attached a photo of the Salmon Eggs Benedict. My sister put a half of her Lobster Salad on French baguette on the plate also. The Lobster Salad is scrumptious.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING with beautiful decor!!! You walk in and the music gives you that jazzy feeling and they had a live singer who was killing it, we loved it. We all were dancing the night away in their small dance floor... We came to celebrate my cousin's bday here and it was top notch customer service and food was DELICIOUS. They gave my cousin a cute crown to wear and printed her name on the menu. The manager kept coming around to make sure that we were taking care of and chatted with us a bit, that's definitely going that extra mile. We felt so comfortable and will definitely be back real soon.

This is such a great restaurant with a fantastic history, I highly recommend it. I took my family to lunch for my Fathers birthday had a wonderful time. Service was 1st rate, thank you so much Dahlia Armour you were fantastic. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was spectacular and everyone at the Leopard Lounge helped our birthday celebration.
