Sonic Drive-in

My experience here last weekend with my family was good no issues or problems, Food was good and very delicious. We ordered 5pcs crispy tenders and limeade. And for my wife is cheese burger with cheesecake master shake and for my daughter quarter pound double cheeseburger with chocolate classic shake. Limeade was My Super Favorite drinks. And the tenders are slightly breaded and perfect for dipping to their new signature sauce. Overall place was great and well maintained the quality of the food. Staff was quick and attentive service. And for their menu was many options to choose and great prices. Thanks for a good quick lunch we appreciated!

My wife and I had always enjoyed Sonic. But on this day when we stopped to get a bite to eat, I had ordered two foot long chili dogs and my wife tried one of their hamburgers that was on grilled slices of bread, Anyway, the hamburger was over cooked, and the bread was kind of soggy and with cold spot in it according to what my wife said. The chili on the footlong looked as if it sat all day. All in all, I think the quality of the food has gone downhill. Not all was bad mind you! Their service was good! The food, not so much!

AH-DIC-TED to their cheddar peppers. I could eat them every day, they're so ridiculously tasty! I mean, I don't because they're fried and full of deliciously gooey cheddar cheese...but I COULD! Anyway, we love Sonic! Second Sonic Addiction is their popcorn chicken, which is so so so good! Last but certainly not least is their slushes. Oh. My. Goodness! I cannot begin to describe how happy I was to learn they actually have low calorie slushes! Who knew! Well, probably a lot of people knew. But I didn't until very recently and I'm over the moon about it! I mean, popcorn chicken, cheddar peppers, AND a low calorie slush? Yes, please!

Been to this place several times over the last decade and it’s as if they’ve never cleaned the tap, the soda tastes like the worst mold on the planet. Ive always given them the benefit of the doubt and wait about 6 months then try again and it’s always the same, tried again today and it’s the worst it has ever been. Health inspector has to be getting paid off or something. I miss the Lake Zurich Sonic 🤦🏾‍♂️
