Today was my first time trying this place. Wow! The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is inviting and food is great! The salsa is fresh with just enough spice which I love. I got two tacos and a beef quesadilla... amazing. I've been raving about El Rodeo for years saying they were the only Mexican restaurant in Lake County that I would eat at but now I have another favorite. Thanks!
This is upscale Mexican street food, excellent flavors and prices. I was born in Texas and was raised on Tex Mex and authentic Mexican food, I had a lot of authentic Mexican food when I was in Tijuana, and always craved it. I was fortunate to find El Señor on Washington St. who serves up 100% authentic Mexican homestyle food, but when I tasted El Taco Macho, I was introduced to a whole different Mexican dining experience. I am addicted to their poblano steak tacos.
The atmosphere here is great; it has a very fun vibe! The food was very good, I wouldn't say it was a cut above or innovative, but still very yummy! The service could have been a little more attentive but quite adequate. I don't have much bad to say about the place, the food was yummy and it was a fun place to be!
Such a great place to eat ! The food is excellent, the margaritas are excellent, and the service is friendly and attentive. Not a bad thing I can say about this place.
The food was absolutely delicious. Our server, Marcus, was so lovely. The portions are very large, so you will definitely be bringing home leftovers! The guacamole was delicious— perfectly creamy and fresh. The salsa was also amazing. Kudos to the effort you all clearly put into your work!!!
Taco Macho was one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve eaten at in the area. We tried the birria tacos and the tinga de pollo. Both were amazing! And the service was excellent. We were seated promptly and the food came out quickly. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend Taco Macho, especially if your looking for a more authentic experience.

A regular on our list of weekend eateries. Great food and service, cool atmosphere. Favs include Michoacan tacos, Latin lovers shrimp, street corn, and the terrific salsa with warm chips of course!
Great place walking distance from the house. Food and beverage for a great night.
Started off with chips salsa and pickled vegetables. Pickled vegetables for a really tasty. I had the chili lime fish tacos and they were very tasty, I had never had fish tacos before and they were good. Also had tamales, while very authentic and wrapped in corn husks would have liked a little more stuffing in them.
This was the first time I came here. The food was very good. The service was very attentive. Always coming by to check on us. I will be coming back again soon. THANK YOU.

Ordered to go at the recommendation of my sister and so glad I did. Authentic flavors at an affordable price. Would have loved shredded chicken over the obviously budgeted cubed variety in my tacos, but overall enjoyable. The industrial finish to the interior was beautiful and the little touches of lucidor masks everywhere really tied in the theme. With it being so slow at my time of arrival I would have liked to see the staff cleaning a little more as there were wrappers and crumbs in the entryway and throughout the restaurant but not enough to deter from dining there again.
What can I say? The food was excellent! I know I’ve said on other reviews that so and so’s salsa was the best, but I have to tell you that THIS is the best salsa...period! Excellent food and service! The only gripe was that it was pretty warm in the restaurant. Drinking some good margaritas helping me cool down. People, you have to stop by and try their food!
