This place is very unique. All ingredients are farm to table. Plenty of vegan options available. Food was amazing. Lots of drinks to choose from, including fresh juice and fresh tea. Staff was very friendly and the environment was very inviting. They also offer fresh fruit and chocolate bars for sale. They also had a local artist performing and setting the mood. Amazing place to eat and relax.

Easiest 5 star rating I've ever done. What a spectacular place. We are going to come here every day during our holiday

In the heart of Puna, lives a magical restaurant that (in my eyes) embodies the spirit of aloha. The food is ridiculously good, the Jungle Breakfast is amazing, and my personal favorite is the breakfast burritos. Fresh fruit and good vibes with every meal! Casey the owner is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the island (and history). 🌈💛
Shoutout to our server Kimi too 🤙🏽

Pele's Kitchen is the kind of restaurant you hope you find when visiting Hawaii. Fresh, local food prepared well, with a friendly staff.
The menu photos are current.
We got good recommendations!
The Loco Moco was good, but not great, with no specific thing to point out.
The buttermilk pancakes with blueberries were tasty.
The Mango and Cocoanut Blintz were tasty! The Mango was tasty!
We also had the fresh pineapple and ginger drinks, fresh tasting, and the ginger really made it great.
I'll visit again!!

Its a quaint lil place with great food. Today we tried the chocolate ule waffles and pineapple macadamia pancakes. The pancakes were so soft and melted in your mouth. The waitress was friendly. Overall it was a good experience.

While vacationing in Pahoa, we ate here twice. A bit understaffed. They were out of crepes and blitzes both days. Pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, hash browns were all excellent.
The exotic fruit platter of Puna was amazing.
Highly recommend this place.
A young guitar player played for the indoor crowd on Saturday.
Both days we had a fresh juice made for us. The coffee was fresh and hot.

A great stop for breakfast. Excellent vegan breakfast foods. And ordinary American staples as pancakes, eggs, bacon.
Eating inside is a treat for the senses: Every inch of walls, floors and ceiling are colorfully decorated.
Service is quick, attentative and with a smile.

Delicious breakfast! An absolute must come back before the end of our trip. Highly recommend this place for anyone.
Vegan friendly 🌱 always a highlight.
The different fruit syrups - passion fruit and coconut were delightful.

This restaurant was amazing with great food and ambience. We were visiting the island and we ended going to this place 2 days in a row because it was amazing. Fresh fruit with every dish that was delicious. Pancakes in the shape of turtles. And a lot of home grown ingredients. Juices were fabulous as well. Overall great food! Service was great too + the place has live animals in the garden and usually some live music in the restaurant. Great experience!

Delicious breakfast & a cool atmosphere! Loved the vegan pancakes, the Hawaiian chocolate ulu waffles, & the exotic fruit sampler. Also loved the emphasis on local, organic foods! Beautiful presentation/plating, I was very impressed. Walls are full of art & the staff is very nice! We will definitely be coming back! My boyfriend also loved the biscuits & gravy, both made in house!
