Excellent food and drinks selection. A little off the beaten path tucked into a nondescript strip mall. Place is not that big so may be a wait during busy hours. Food is freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Pretty broad selection from sushi sashimi to noodles and yakitori dishes. Good selection of sake too.

Absolutely Delicious! We stopped in on a Sunday. Place was packed. There are 2 people working there - the sushi chef who is also the waiter, busier, and the host and the person in the back cooking. Patience is required but completely worth it! We ordered a mix of cooked foods and sushi. My sushi portions were incredible. Thick large pieces of the freshest fish! I reluctantly shared with the table and they agreed that the quality was spectacular. Their Momo wings are great. The mixed Tempura was a large portion and cooked perfectly. Veggies were soft and tender and tempura batter was light and crispy! We were visiting Pacifica from Orange County and I do believe that I have found my dinner spot worth returning to each trip.

5 Stars all the way! I went with 4 other friends on a Sunday night with zero expectations. Chef/ owner Adam went above and beyond to give us a good time- food were super delicious and he was also super funny/ witty. So glad to discover a gem like this in Pacifica! Great memories!

We had just finished walking the old Mori Trail and wanted to find a place to eat. We had no idea what a full meal experience we would have at Momo itzakaya. We were treated like honored guests from the moment we entered. The charashi bowl was so beautiful and so delicious. We highly recommend this place!

Go to yelp and see all of their *recent* reviews. I really try to support local, smaller businesses right now during covid, but this place should just shut down. We ordered a bunch of food; 4 bowls of ramen, three orders of sushi, and three appetizers for 4 of us. EVERY SINGLE PLATE was thrown away. It was that bad. I've actually never had a meal that bad. The fish smelled awful and was definitely old/slimy. The ramen was worse than the 10 cent packaged ramen at the grocery store; soggy noodles, zero flavor. It came with miso soup that was super dark and smelled like coke. It was so bad that we called to let them know as a polite gesture and said we didn't want money back but that we basically threw away $150 in food, and they just said 'never happened before, here's $20 off your next order.' This is a place that needs to shut down if they can't provide edible food. Do not waste your money.

They were open on New Year's Day, so this is unlikely to be typical. They had no rolls or nigiri, only sashimi (which is fine with me, as a diabetic). The fish was good. The fried chicken was great. The tempura was mostly squash. Everything else was okay, and a bit pricey for okay

Hidden gem, think Japanese tapas restaurant. Fantastic service and excellent food. The chef personally served several dishes to us on the house. Incredibly well prepared sashimi and quality fish. Sad that they no longer offer the late night happy hours.

the quality is really good. had the tunas, kobe beef and the crepes. melt in your mouth. fresh. I enjoyed this more than some michelin starred sushi restaurants. maybe cause it was laid back and the food was really good. Will be coming back
