The Green Enchilda

I have heavily weighted food and service in my review. In my opinion, this is the healthiest and best tasting Mexican food in the bay area. If you're looking for a salt/grease bomb 💣 look elsewhere as you will be disappointed with the food here. If you want "stand out" Mexican food and you frequently go out to eat Mexican food, you will likely be disappointed as the levels of salt and fat in "normal" Mexican food are very high compared to this food. If you're looking for the healthiest and tastiest Mexican food in the bay (maybe in all of nor cal), this is the spot for you. All organic, low salt, and appropriately seasoned foods make this place my #1 favorite place to eat out in the bay. Other notes: -Only offers outdoor seating and it's usually cold/windy out. If you want to "dine in" know that you'll be dining out so bundle up. -An extensive menu. -The beans defy expectations 🙌 so good.

Don't miss this spot and make sure to get a burrito. My wife thinks this is the best burrito she's had since we moved to the bay area (7+ years) and we've explore the Mission non-stop! This place is amazing, the burrito was gigantic and sooooo flavorful. Bonus: if you order online they seem to have additional fillings you can put in your burrito (i.e. FREE potatoes).

Despite arriving 10 minutes prior to close, the staff greeted us with warmth and openly accommodated our party of 8 with their endless special requests. Although the restaurant has only a few tables, the dining experience was also surprisingly well-serviced. Though we unfortunately cannot patronize the restaurant as locals, we hope others stop by and take part in this experience for themselves.

Let me say that my boyfriend and I were so excited to eat this place! We actually drove out of the way to come here and it was a total let down on our vacation! The food was super overpriced and underwhelming. My Mexican partner could barely eat his burrito and my burrito was also just so disappointing. We only got 3 things and the bill was almost $50!!!! No combinations either! If you love Mexican food, this is not the place for you.

Was a great serendipity to stumble upon this restaurant while driving up the coast from Half Moon Bay craving Mexican food. Parking was easy. We felt welcomed immediately and were treated to warm service. I wish we lived closer to this place we would get food from here all the time! I recommend the nachos and California enchiladas
