My wife, kids (9 and 7) had brunch at Red Hat yesterday. Was an enjoyable with really good wait staff. My kids both enjoyed a nice country breakfast, my wife enjoyed a cinnamon brioche French toast and I enjoyed the warm tomato mozzarella sandwich. The food was outstanding and pretty fairly priced for the area.
Only small suggestion might be to establish a kids menu.
Enjoyable meal-would recommend for family dining.
My husband brought me here for my birthday. We had a cozy corner by the fire. We loved all the food but especially the salad with souffle and Bleu cheese, the flavors were so perfect together. I ate the snapper special and he had spinach ravioli and both sauces were so delicious. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable and the butter rum cake with the cream was to die for. Wonderful experience!
We had a very pleasant experience while having breakfast at Red House Cafe.
I love my eggs to be poached properly; they were able to serve them exactly the way I like.
My wife had very nice, fluffy pancakes. Overall, the place is so cute, and the service was amazing.
Next time, however, I would order a regular refill filter coffee instead of the latte, but it only means that I am planning to come again.

If this cafe had a spirit animal I think it would be a hen. Which would make sense because it’s kind of giving farmhouse vibes. Which are good vibes. The servers were friendly and the food was good, although it was a bit expensive for what it was. There also could’ve been more vegetarian options.
Such a cozy and warm atmosphere! The food is fresh and delicious. The service is amazing and so inviting! We enjoyed it so much we visited twice on our trip to Monterey bay, California. Thank you for helping Make our trip special!

I have to start out by saying this is to my go to restaurant when I go to Pacific Grove. I always make it a point to stop here and they never disappoint me. Everything is very fresh,made from scratch, and they can accommodate my dietary restriction of no onions and garlic. The atmosphere is fine. It’s in a house. The service is always very friendly and prompt, and they are always very crowded because everyone knows that such a good place to go to!
My friend have a turkey sandwich on the brioche bread and she said it was delicious! I had a vegetarian option. I decided to go for the mozzarella and tomato sandwich on the brioche bread. It had a drizzle of balsamic on top. I had to get it without the grilled onions (which look amazing)and it was absolutely delicious.
I highly recommend this restaurant just give yourself a little time to wait for your table which moves pretty fast, but maybe 20 minutes if it is busy . Depending on the weather they have outside seating with heaters but I really like to sit indoors. They also have an indoor fireplace that makes it very pleasant and cool days.
We ordered the Salmon-topped potato pancakes and Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict. Everything was better than we expected. We were just looking for a quick place to grab a bite but this became a new favorite spot for us! Be prepared for a wait though, as they are very popular. We'll be back!
We stop by here occasionally for brunch. You can always meet friendly servers and enjoy a delicious brunch. The antique interior will bring nostalgia to many people. We ate burgers because we didn't have time before tea time today, but try today's special dish. Strongly recommended.
This place can get busy but was never crowded during our visit. I always try the crab cakes when it’s on the menu and their house favorite is something worth to try for. We would come back again if we are in the area.

Great service and great food. Lil gem of a find. Worth the short drive from Monterey. Started off with fresh cinnamon roll, had French toast, crab cake Benedict (on croissant) and country breakfast. Coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice is super too!
Located in a cute, name-giving red house, this cafe is a great place for breakfast or brunch. Enjoy classic dishes, such as fluffy pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, granola, etc. Service was fast and friendly. The place is popular so expect to wait in line as you can't make reservations.
