I come here to get empanadas and they are so good and reasonably priced!! The employees are also always really nice too,the chicken is really good too!! Definitely recommend this underrated restaurant :))
I heard they remodeled and or got new owner's. My friend was going for breakfast and invited me. I decided to check it out. Haven't been there in a while. The music was awesome. We had Mangu with eggs and cheese and onions. Very delicious and filling. I had morir soñando with less ice how I like it. My friend had Chinola. They kindly let My friend sample the goat. We had to show our vaccine cards to dine in. They have a bottle of hand sanitizer at each table.

When I tell you that this has been the best food I've had in quite some time. I ordered for catering last weekend and the food was so delicious I had to go back last night. The mashed potatoes was so creamy. The fried calamari was so tasty. The Chicken cordon bleu delicious. Their mofongo has been the best I've ever had. It was made with sweet plaintain, green plantain and yuca. I saved the best for last. The Churrasco OMG... the best. There are no words or pictures that will do their food justice. You must go and try for yourself. The service was exceptional, prompt and attentive. The best part was that I was able to go and have a late Saturday dinner with my daughter and nephew. The place is family oriented.

Usually I can always find one thing I dislike about a restaurant. Here, it might be their decor, but in no way is it their food. This is the best food overall that I have eaten in a restaurant in years, even since before the pandemic. Don't let the appearance fool you into judging the quality of the restaurant and its food before you sit down. Whoever they have in their kitchen knows more about making good food than anyone in Queens. Even my mother who has obstinately refused calamari for decades enjoyed their fried calamari. The mofongo was perfectly crispy and sauce at the same time with a wonderful garlic sauce. The breaded pork chop was crispy on the outside and perfectly tender and cooked on the inside. Their drinks are strong and not watered down so you're getting what you pay for. Everything was excellent. You will absolutely enjoy your meal.
Place has great food!! Only complaint would be that sometimes they come out with the food for each person at a different time….. if you tell them to wait for all to be ready (party of 4) , 3 of the plates are cold and one is warm. Been there for breakfast to dine in and they still don’t make fresh eggs for the mangu…..I understand it if u are in the go, but they have already made eggs that are cold…. Mix it up with the mangu then it’s ok, but unacceptable for dine in & there are other local spots that make it fresh even for take out.
OMG! Happy Birthday, to me! The food was great! I had the breaded pork chops with white rice and beans, delicious! Never liked calamari, tried their's, awesome! Finished with a flan, just the way I like it, nice and creamy. You will not be disappointed. Our server, Carmen was a delight.
Good Caribbean food, good drinks, decent prices, good quantity food. B sure to visit Friday and Saturday. Went on a Sunday and the steak and onions was way in too many pieces and too dark. I don’t want to assume, but you know what I mean. Other than that all is good.
Awesome Food, Great Service, will definitely return. I ordered a grilled chicken salad, the chicken was amazing.
For my first time going there with my family it was Amazing 👌& the food was delicious 😋 I would definitely go again 🤗 & the onions with that fish to die for 😋😋😋
