The best and fresh chicken! Made from scratch daily & the customer service is amazing! Well worth the money spent for the huge portions. My favorite place to stop when I pass through! Thank you to all the workers for your hard work & dedication to exceed the expectation of oriental food!

This sounds silly but this restaurant holds a very dear place in my heart.
My grandma and I had been going to this place ever since I was a kid, always ordering the same things. I remember they used to have a fish tank that I loved to look at while we waited lol. We even ate here the day of her funeral. I don’t live in Missouri anymore and I haven’t for a long time but every trip I make to town, even if it’s 30 minutes out of the way, I always make a point to stop here and eat the exact same thing I always have. Again, this is kind of silly because it’s just a restaurant… but it will always mean so much to me. I hope this place never goes away. If you’re looking for good food that never gets old, this is the place you’re looking for :)

.I've had so many meals from Golden Dragon and they continue to deliver on excellent price for a great tasting meal. If you want a special treat, order Young's spicy chicken and Special Sauce. It was a real treat.

Your reply to my review is that there is other places to order. You need to be concerned on how you treat your customers because comments like that will destroy a 40 year old business in minutes.
I have loved eating at this place in the past. But ever since their new rule about having the dining room closed the drive-thru takes too long. I had called to have an order ready at 6:30 p.m. and I had to wait in line 30 minutes to get cold food. This is ridiculous and it is not customer service you have enough help in the front to open up the door and bring food out to call ahead. Your current system is unacceptable.

Better hope they get your order correct because if that’s not the case they will blame it on the customer and make you feel like you are trying to steal from them. The owner literally excused her awful behavior because she said “you wouldn’t believe how many people call in to try and get free food”. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to drive all the way home only to discover my order was packaged wrong only to be told (insisted) that it was correct. All I was expecting was for the dish they messed up to be replaced instead I was offered a store credit of less than $1 for the sauce they didn’t put on the dish. I guess I was supposed to eat plain rice and dry chicken. Since they obviously didn’t believe me I offered to bring the order back so they could see their error but they refused saying “we can’t take that back”. I just don’t understand their logic. Why alienate loyal customers over something that could ‘ve been rectified very easily. I do understand their business stays busy and staffing is limited and sometimes mistakes happen. I was very polite when I called to make them aware of the error. The owner was rude and kept interrupting saying she didn’t have time to discuss because they were too busy when all I wanted was the dish I actually ordered. They made a HUGE deal out of a problem with a simple solution. Usually when a small error or omission has been made we don’t even say anything because it’s not worth the aggravation. Unbelievably upsetting and unbelievably poor customer service. This same scenario has played out on several different occasions over the years not just this time and every time it’s the same which is why I’m leaving this review. The last time it happened I checked my order before leaving and was missing a small sweet and sour sauce and they INSISTED I didn’t order it. I even offered to pay for it again on the off chance I hadn’t been charged. Do you think I’m trying to rip you off for some sweet and sour sauce after sitting in your line for 30 minutes. The worst thing is it’s always your word against theirs because they don’t itemize their receipts they give the customer. So disappointing.

Amazing food, great quality and service with a smile. Would eat here every day if I lived closer.
Have to have Young’s Chicken and try the crab Rangoon. And stoked that the Jinju chicken finally made it to the menu. Won’t find anything like it!!

They should change how the call in orders get their food. Putting them in the drive thru when people are ordering theirs is crazy. When you call in and have to wait in line for 20 plus minutes is just horrible.Just open your dine in area to let call in orders go inside to pay and get their food. It will Help with drive thru line and repeat customers. Other than that food is great!

I'm really picky especially about Chinese. We've lived in Ozark for over a year now and just tried this place. It's great! Clean restaurant and friendly staff. The food you could tell was really fresh. The main reason it took us so long to try this place is the restaurant doesn't look that great from the outside but the inside is clean and nice.
