Osteria Costa

This is my second time dining at Osteria Costa and the food was just as amazing as I remember from three years ago! That being said, we ordered the Fritto Misto appetizer (the fried shrimp dish in the pictures) which had a wonderfully light, flaky texture from the batter they used, and incredible dipping sauces. The main course was a difficult decision to choose from, between the NY Strip or the Grilled Branzino, so as you can see the Branzino won! It was light, but flavorful, though I don’t like peppers on my fish, they prepared the dish wonderfully. The second entrée was the classic Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp and that was absolutely amazing! It was the sauce for me. That is always a safe, and delicious bet that will do well reheating the next day without drying out. Though, if you’d like, ask for extra sauce on the side to take home. All in all, our bill was roughly $130 which is a little high for 1 appetizer, 1 bottle of San Pellegrino, 2 entrées, two glasses of wine, and mediocre service. It was the 4th of July, so it was extra busy, but they seemed to have taken forever with each course, even forgetting our Fritto at first, though I wanted to at least rate the food for how wonderful it was! Would I go back? Yes. Is the pricing fair? No. Considering the environment of the casino/hotel, does it “make sense”? Sure.

Buffet quite tasty. Place clean. Two buffet 1 unlimited mimosa 94.00. Reservations recommended. Satisfied with food selections. Waitress nice.

Food was great and service was excellent! As a foodie, I couldn't have asked for anything else 😋 Had the shrimp spaghetti (with homemade noodles!!) which was delicately spicy and the beef carpaccio paired with a glass of Ott Rose. So much yes!
