Pirates Grub 'n Grog

Terrible! As soon we walked in we were carded. At 9:30pm even though it's a restaurant and bar. So after clearing that up they allowed my under age friend in but made a big deal about her age. Yet we were told anyone under 21 is kicked out at 11:00pm. So before we got to our table the security guard and hostess were extremely rude. We then Sat at our table for 5 minutes feeling like ghosts until I went to find someone to bring us menu's. Waiter was cute but very rude. First thing he asked us was "which one of you is under age?. Servicers is terrible, employees are rude, my drink is gross I cant tell you how the food is because I can't stay in this negative environment any longer. Sad!

Drinks were great, ambient was good, service was okay. How does one know the drink specials of the night but not the bartender? Besides the usual two pretty girls doing a mediocre job, we delt with a rude male bartender with no people skills. Then was over charged, and compensated the wrong amount for it. Didn't even get the chance to try the kitchen menu before we were just ready to go. The one good thing I have to say is that atleast the special drink I had was strong.

Friday night for some ol'school. It's a nice place and has a nice set up but unfortunately it's all downhill from there. Met up with a group of friends for some drinks, dancing and hanging out. The entertainment was on point, drinks were okay, the bartenders were attentive at the bar but the service at our table was nowhere to be found after the first round. Had to track down the waitress for a menu and it took her a while to get back to the table to take our order. We ordered an appetizer sampler platter that turned out to be a letdown, nothing had any real flavor and it was obvious no real effort was put into any of it. It would have probably tasted better if you were drunk but when we go out we don't go out to get drunk we go out to have a good time. As the evening progressed and we were dancing, the smell of urine started creeping from the restrooms, which turns out to be a whole different nightmare, and the stench began overpowering the dance floor at which point we decided the night was over.

All the 1star reviews are true to this day. I've seen the place go from worse to terrible in the last two years. The experience we (locals) all hoped for or expected when it was at the harbor is long gone, especially the honest owner who cared. Surprised it has not closed and why the owner continues to operate without any regard for his patron concerns. All the local and loyal customers have left and are experiencing great dinning experiences elsewhere.
