They have yummy food here. I had a shrimp burrito that was really good and a couple of tacos that were also good. The so called home made tortillas were kind of a let down though, not strong enough to hold your food in it. Overall, good experience though and friendly staff.

I’ve ordered at this place a lot and this is isn’t the first time they messed up. I simply ordered a shrimp burrito with no guacamole because I’m allergic and they added guacamole. Now their claiming that they didn’t see it when I placed it and they were being rude about it. Wish I can put a 0 stars. Time to find another burrito spot.

Came to Oxnard just to co-pilot a friend who had business to take care of.
I was wanting asada nachos.
Deeeelicious! We came in late, close to closing time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I went this last Sunday with a friend to eat the worst menudo ever, old dark menudo mixed with the new one! If you are an expert on how the pancita looks like when is fresh, you must know how it is when it’s old and here is an example, the clear ones are new, the others maybe frozen from last year. Never Come back again

Food is super yummy! From their menudo to their crunchy barbacoa tacos down to their refried beans and green salsa and don't sleep on their breakfast burritos oh and the nacos! Service could use some improvement BUT the food is worth it!

This place has amazing value!! You can get the giant El Rey burrito for only $14 that is enough to fill 3 people up! Splitting this big burrito makes it so cheap and worth the price! I'd say their meats and flavors are mediocre but the price and amount of food you get makes this place a worth it location to try. Not to mention if you dine in, you get to add as much sauces as you want and make your own wet burrito.

Delicious and authentic. I've been to many a burrito establishment, but none have even come close to the deliciousness that was burrito express. There was just something special about it that is hard to describe. I had the shrimp burrito, and my boyfriend had the pork verde burrito. I can't express to you how good these burritos were. The chips and salsa were pretty dang good as well. Factor in the very reasonable prices, and this was a wonderful meal experience, especially for a couple of weary travelers.
