Unbelievable food! The service was amazing. Had the King Ludwig for brunch and hubby had what he said was "the best Reuben, ever."

Wonderful steakhouse and the food is consistently pretty good. Highly recommend coming on a Wednesday night for steak night it is the best that Stienkellers has to offer for the best price. On other nights dinner can be a bit expensive but still enjoyable. Beer pretzel is also fantastic.

Been here for weekend brunch and schnitzel night and I was blown away both times. Brunch highlights were definitely the Apple French toast special as well as the GOETTA!! That stuff was so good... Schnitzel night features half priced schnitzel as well as a whole second menu of special schnitzels.. I was recommended the Rahm Schnitzel and absolutely loved it. German chocolate cake was a great way to end the meal.. $9 is A LOT for cake, but i loved it so much I can forgive them. One of my favs in Oxford!

Very nice dinner this past Friday. Service was friendly from start to finish. Dog friendly establishment, which is so awesome. Live, quiet German music was a nice addition to the night. Food wasn’t overly salty, but quite rich, as German food should be!! Pork schnitzel with hunter mushroom sauce was wonderful. The pork was tender and thin versus thick and tough. The breading on it was light and non-greasy; I was impressed. The mashed potatoes with pork gravy were obviously homemade. We’ve been here 3x now (from St Louis, MO), and there’s a reason we keep coming back. 😊😀

Had a fun dinner here with the family. Friendly hostess and server. We got mostly appetizers. The dinner my husband and daughter they said was delicious. I am vegetarian and there were some good options for me. Would definitely come back.

Stopped for brunch/lunch while visiting our son at Miami. My wife and him had gone there once before and he said he wanted to come back, so that's a pretty good endorsement. Don't let the somewhat steep and scary entrance to this basement establishment scare you off, it's well worth a visit. Everybody enjoyed their brunch (son, wife) or lunch (Grandma, me). I enjoyed my dark beer flight although the relative up charge for the 4 4-ounce pours seemed a little steep. If there's something you're interested in you might do better to ask for a taste and then order a half liter. I thought the Reuben was good and the chickenzilla looked very good. The brunch options were reportedly tasty as well. Will definitely return. Upon return, there Cubano was somewhat disappointing, but the half liter of Celebrator was not.

Loved everything! The beer, the pretzel appetizer, the Reuben were all fantastic! My wife's meal was amazing also! Dining area was very quaint and our server, Tess, was great. She offered excellent suggestions. We'll definitely go back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend if you like German food and beer!

This was an okay German restaurant. It was a good price. The German meals included a very nice salad. I got mine with blue cheese and ranch which tasted great!! The Jägerschnitzel had a really tasty sauce that was sweet and had great texture. The Schnitzel was very thick and breaded nicely. It was a really good meal. The Holstein Schnitzel was great too! It has a slightly more vinegary sauce with a different flavor, slightly acidic. The egg on top was cute. I really wanted dessert but didn't get any. I'm not sure what dessert they had.

Loved this place! Food was great and the staff was excellent. To start off we almost didn't get seated because we arrived about 10 minutes before 9:00. They close at 10:00 so we were told they weren't seating anymore but I was able to convince them to let us eat. German beer was very cold and huge. Bavarian pretzel was amazing especially with the beer cheese. I was disappointed that they were out of spatzle but again it was the end of the day. I had to settle for fries to go with my Jager schnitzel. Waitress was impressive and did an outstanding job.
