I absolutely love this place. It’s consistently good. It’s kinda tucked away and in a strange area surrounded by office buildings, but it’s definitely worth the visit. Service is always great. They have an open kitchen so you can see everything happening behind the counter. Perfect for casual dining and with it being so close to us, I don’t mind popping in when we don’t know where to go. Never misses!
Excellent evening for me and my hubby. He did the roasted chicken; I had the Tuna, and we had the apple tart. Everything was great. Our waitress was very attentive and bubbly. We went at 8pm and was pleased to be seated in the main dining area, which we always prefer (We went through a period of being seated in an overflow area - not sure if overflow is what it’s called). We will continue to patronize Linwoods. They’ve always delivered food and service exceptionally well.
Linwoods was a magnificent experience. The waiter was awesome. The food came timely and it was delicious. The drinks (martinis) were awesome. The Margherita pizza was scrumptious. Korean tacos were chefs kiss. Salmon and sea bass were perfection.

Very elegant. I think the atmosphere is more of a main attraction. With that said the desserts are amazing, the wine selection provides great variety, and the main courses are typically satisfying entrees.
My husband and I celebrated our 12th anniversary at Linwoods. The food was great, the atmosphere was a mixture of classy and chill, and the service was excellent. Thanks for making our special day extra special.
Lately, I'm reserving 5 star reviews for places that exceed my expectations. I had pretty high expectations for Linwoods, and they exceeded my high expectations.
First of all, I really like linen table cloths, but I rarely see them in outdoor venues. A fresh linen table cloth is very reassuring, especially during a pandemic.
Our server, Holly, was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. The menu, often a source of infectious particles, was printed on paper and was disposable. I know that for sure because Holly crumpled them up when she collected them after we ordered.
The menu items were a bit pricey, but reasonable for such a nice venue.
I had French onion soup. It was excellent. I enjoy French onion soup, and I have ordered it at lots of restaurants. This French onion soup was among the best I have ever had.
For my entrée, I had a cheeseburger. It was large, juicy, and it was prepared just the way I wanted it. It was delicious.
There was not a separate person to bus our table, but Holly was just as good at removing items that we no longer needed as she was at bringing our next items to the table.
I was quite impressed by our whole dining experience, and I heartily recommend Linwoods.
Found this in the suburbs where we were staying. It was fantastic. The service was friendly and the food great, but a few dollars more than usual. Worth it and drinks were not over priced.
Linwoods has a tasteful and simple ambiance, that clearly confirms its upscale identity. We ordered the Brussel Caesar as a starter which was enough for two. It was perfectly crispy and had a great balance of savory flavors. We had the Branzino and Sea bass for our entrees; both were delicious, however, I wished I was the one who ordered the Branzino. Dessert was their complimentary Birthday Dark Chocolate S'mores and the pecan tart, I enjoyed both but the pecan tart was a highlight for me. In being present, I forgot to take a picture of the pecan tart initially, hence the picture below.
