I ate at the Old Hickory BBQ in Owensboro, KY this afternoon for my first time ever. I ordered the 1/2 lb beef brisket and a couple of sides and unsweet tea. I told my server, Jane, that the brisket just may be as good as any I've eaten and that includes places in Austin, Kansas City, Memphis, Charlotte and of course here in Nashville. It was tender and mouth watering delicious. I give it 5 stars. (Good choice for your class reunion, Bill Freer).

Ive been coming to Old Hickory since 1983. When I come back to Owensboro to visit, Old Hickory is top of my list of places to eat. The chopped mutton is hands down the best. Its a special place.
