My friends and I had the BEST time at Bachelor Syracuse! The tour was intimate and personalized, our guide was clearly knowledgeable, and the price was very reasonable given the quality of our experience. Beautiful mountaintop scenery, interesting history, and a cute little gift shop. I only wish we had been able to try the food - I hear it's amazing! Keep an eye out for Tommyknockers, and watch your head if you're tall (they provided free hard hats for everyone). Definitely make this a stop if you're in the Rockies!

We took the Million Dollar Highway from Durango to Ouray and figured we would do something new in Ouray so we gave the mine tour a try. We really didn’t have high expectations, but even if we had, this would have crushed it, it was awesome. All things being equal, there is only so much fun you can have 1,500’ under ground, in the dark, but heck, this was tops on the list. Our guide was knowledgeable, fun, and ever-so patient with the young children that we were paired up with. I had no idea how these things worked and the history of mining and he packed a ton of into in the 60 minute tour. If you’re in the area, this is great tour, even for little ones.

Our mine tour wasn't that great. As we walked in, the tour guide was talking, but we couldn't hear him at the back of the line. Also, some of his info was questionable. My 3 year old loved panning for gold though.

Our tour guide Jason was very educational and funny. We got to walk 1500ft into the mine while he gave us the history and a little geology. We finished our tour outside with some panning. Gabrielle was very patient with my wife, children and I. We were never rushed. It was a small low-key experience. We loved it.

Great tour! Jason gave a super interesting and informative talk about the mine and getting to got 1500ft into the mine was really cool. Also, the gold panning with Gabrielle was great fun as well. Highly recommended!

Ronnie was an awesome guide and the entire experience would have been even if we didn’t have little man with us! Definitely suggest this tour if you are in the Ouray area. Makes you appreciate what the old timers sacrificed for us!

Our family loves this mine tour! Jason was a great tour guide and Stan makes the best breakfast around. If you’re in Ouray definitely add this to your list.
