Great Reception!. Billy's, a local best since 1922, has been a favorite with us since 1999. With the new owners, we are seeing for great updates to the menu and service. We recently had a reception in the downstairs party room for 32 people. It was just appetizers and drinks, but the staff were very good and kept the room clean and the beverages refreshed. The appetizers were better than most restaurants and showed the kitchen has some skill in display and selection.
Kudos to Doug and Lil for buying Billy's and bringing the restaurant and its traditions into the 21st century!

Go there often. Service people are great and food is excellent. Owner Doug very attentive always checking to be sure you are happy. I highly recommend Biliy's. Best grouper menu ever. Over 20 ways. Grouper supreme is a must have

Had the prime rib and it was absolutely amazing, juicy and flavorful. Service was great, always had fresh bread and cold tea. Decor and atmosphere can't be beat and it really keeps Ormond's history alive. A must-go while in Ormond
Billy's Is Back. Read available comments and was a bit leary about dinner. New Years Eve can be spotty for kitchen talent. Not so this evening. From cocktails to coffee this was a true delight. Crab cake was a monster, all meat. Grouper "en papillote"(sp) was the best since Europe. Do not miss the fresh cobbler w/ ice creame. Wait staff was comfortable and attentive. All in all unexpected quality. Worth every dime. Will certainly return.
Absolutely perfect! Some of the bad reveiws on this site are hard to believe and sound like they are left by disgruntled former employees. Everytime I go to Billy's, the food and service is wonderful and the environment is warm and inviting. The new owners have made an incredible transformation of the restaurant and it is better than ever! The banana grouper is to die for and the bread pudding is like heaven on a fork! And to dispute previous comments, the place always smells pleasant! I would reccoment Billy's a hundred times over to anyone looking for a perfect date night or just a family dinner. You won't be disappointed!

EXCELLENT!!!!. I was so excited to see them reopen. So I took my husband there for his first time. There just isn't anything like Billy's anywhere else around. The atmosphere, history, food, service, and whatever else I might be forgetting was perfect. We had such a nice time. Robert made it a point to talk to us and make us feel very special. Debbie was our server and she was fantastic. Some of these reviews I just don't understand. Maybe they struggled a little when they first reopened. I've been in the service industry over ten years and can't think of one bad thing to say. This is not a chain or franchise so you can make reservations. So you shouldn't have to wait too long for a table. So anyone not sure please trust me you won't be disappointed.
