In town for a couple of days and found this place online. The place is immaculate, owners (I presume) are really friendly, food was made after I ordered it (empanadas weren’t waiting under a heat lamp) and the filling was so fresh. Prices are beyond reasonable. If I lived here I would be a regular!
Stopped in on a whim, but I think I found my new favorite spot to grab a quick bite! The empanadas were on point and the porkbelly rice bowl was so fresh. Definitely worth checking out �
EXCELLENT Cuban sandwich!!! We went here for lunch and their Cuban is outstanding. Great meat, excellent bread. Next time I might ask for extra pickles. They have fresh squeeze orange juice and great plantains. Fabulous all around!
Can’t wait to come back with family and friends so we can try new things. I got the tostones with chicken and it was incredible! Super reasonably priced as well.
Everything about this place I loved. The island decor to the friendly staff to the delicious food. Decided to have a b day dinner here with the fam and wasn't disappointed. Have been raving to my friends and family and look forward enjoying another meal here.
Best Chicken Rice Bowls in town! This beats Chipotle’s. I always order my bowl with everything on top. If you’re not a cilantro lover, you will love their cilantro sauce 😩♥️
Amazing good food, I definitely recommend this place to everyone, also very friendly and very clean.
OLD: (I can’t even speak as to how good the food is. I went to get take out with 30 minutes left until the online hours said they closed and they closed early; the door was locked. Their hours on the door say 11-__ and the closing hours are ripped off. I’d love to support local restaurants but adhering to hours is something that’s necessary in my opinion.
I understand closing a little early but a whole half hour?)
UPDATE: I was finally able to try the food! It was very good; I had a burrito and it was stuffed with delicious ingredients!
Corona Safe Restaurant... Just discovered Marita today and they are one mile from my home. Cant miss that BIG OPEN sign. Clean, beautiful Decor of Puerto Rico, family business, hand sanitizer in each table and the customer service was excellent. I am posting the pictures that I took. Empanadas was chunky and had great flavors. The Papa Locas was awesome, with so much flavor and it's big enough for 2 people. I had shrimp taco & my sister had beef taco and it was excellent. We are completely stuffed. They also have Marta and Cole cchampagne.
I highly recommend it and this is now my new neighborhood Boricua Restaurant. $$$$ prices reasonable.
Beautiful atmosphere. Tables are well spaced and the walls are gorgeous!
I love their variety of fresh juices like mango and passionfruit. Hot and tasty chicken empanadas and delightful customer service.
I got the salmon rice bowl and it was incredible. Amazing food and would recommend!
Stopped by for lunch & had the shrimp bowl with yellow rice & black beans, I was not disappointed. The bowl also has chopped sweet plantain & avocado in addition to sauces, it’s was so flavorful. We also ordered the crab empanada & tostones San Juan which were really good, food is cooked to order and very fresh. Will definitely return to try other items.
