they would have got 5 stars, but the seasoning on the ribs was way to salty. Cara was an excellent server, everything else was great, but as I do not eat salt on most of my foods... I did tell my husband it was nice to see that a restaurant actually seasoned their meat when cooking it. But as I ate it seemed to get saltier & saltier and it was only 3 ribs, it was cooked well & had great bbq sauce, but for me personally it got to salty. My husband had the burger & said it was GREAT, I did try the onion rings, and they were wonderful. Overall a great experience, I just will avoid the ribs in the future. I was hoping for a really good cheesesteak sandwich, they had french dip, but not a cheesesteak. Cara stated the they would be happy to make me one but I went with my second choice, the ribs, which had just come off of the smoker that morning. We will give it another try & we would like to try their other place--"Fish on Fire" which is also in our local area. See you again soon.

The food and atmosphere was wonderful each and every time we went. Service was top notch with zero issues. They used to offer the BEST spaghetti which I ate every time we visited but sadly it is no longer offered. Because of that and my constant need for pasta, we no longer visit. Please bring it back!

The Steer is a gem 💎 - A Superb restaurant choice! Everything, start to finish, was truly fantastic. Jay, The owner, is truly an exceptional chef. All dishes were cooked to perfection and the serve up was well executed. An awesome experience with the family, with plenty of left overs to enjoy later. Would highly recommend. Great job everyone!

I ordered lunch online, and picked it up at the restaurant. I was in a rush, and didn't realize I was missing part of my order. When I called them, they immediately offered to deliver my missing item! Not to be punny, but that left a good taste in my mouth, as did the food! I ordered the smoked beef sandwiches and fries, both were delicious. The barbecue sauce that came on the side was perfect, tangy and slightly tomato-y. The beef was shaved thin, smoky and salty, but not overly so. The bun was soft, yet held the beef in perfectly. The fries were cooked to perfection. My only problem is deciding whether to order the same thing next time, or try something new!

Was driving around with my date looking for a decent place to eat steak. Having been disappointed by popular chains, I figured why not try one of these Mom n Pop restaurants instead? I had no clue I was in for such a suprise. The sides were fresh and the Merlot complimented what tasted like the best steak I've had in years. The staff was friendly and the chef was very cordial. I'm shocked it took me so long to discover this place. I'll definitely go back!
