A truly amazing dining experience. This is fixed price only and you can choose from either a vegetarian menu or one with meat courses. We had the Kiku which is the meat course menu and every single dish was fantastic. Our personal favorites were the lobster tempura and the A5 wagyu beef courses. They also have a great selection of sake and cocktails - our server recommended one of the sake flights and it did not disappoint. The service is top notch and each course is explained to you in detail.

Incredible dining experience. Truly authentic Japanese food. It's an investment in a truly immersive and delicious experience. The sake pairing perfectly complimented the food. The service was excellent. The traditional macha tea service was a great ending.

Extremely nice. I eat very quickly and it still took me an hour and 45 minutes here. Just a wonderful environment. You can’t do this every day however, this will be an experience that definitely is worth the money.

My husband and I went here in April for our five year wedding anniversary. We wanted to try this place to see how it compared to a kaiseki in Japan. We were NOT disappointed! We did the “Kiku” menu. When you first enter the restaurant, the hostess describes the different elements that each area of the restaurant is based off. We were placed in the stone room which was beautiful. We had Tsukiko for our waitress. She was super polite, and attentive. Our meals came out immediately back to back. Everything was delicious, except for the miso soup. We were hoping that the tofu was made in house, but it was made in the US by a Japanese company. The tofu tasted like cheap tofu you’d buy at a grocery store like Walmart. The five seasonal appetizers consisted of sea urchin, edamame, lobster, seaweed with fish roe, and some kind of tofu in soy sauce with gold flakes (that was my favorite). All of the appetizers were delicious! All of the raw fish was fresh and delicious! They didn’t taste like frozen fish that’s super fishy. The lobster tempura was so good, especially with the yuzu salt (Tsukiko gave me extra salt to take home because I liked it so much). I got the A5 wagyu steak which was so good. It was tender, cooked perfectly, melted in your mouth, and just plain delicious. It came with mushrooms, sauce covered onions, potatoes, leek puree, and black sesame puree. I am a black sesame addict, but the leek puree was to die for! That whole dish I could eat every day! My husband got the grilled Chilean sea bass, which he really enjoyed. The fish was cooked perfectly. For dessert, I got the monaka daifuku with an extra scoop each of hojicha ice cream, and black sesame ice cream. My husband got the chestnut crème brûlée. Japanese chestnuts are so good. Both desserts were delicious. After dinner we were served freshly made green tea which was good, of course. Before dessert, we were given complimentary champagne with rock candy on the bottom, for our anniversary. Tsukiko made some origami for us. One included a cute little anniversary message. She was such a pleasure to meet. This restaurant is very expensive. It’s definitely a place for a super special occasion, but it’s worth it. The whole experience, from the atmosphere, staff, service, and food was top notch. We can’t wait to go back!

This place was amazing! They make their own salt blend and don't ask for soy sauce, it's all seasoned perfectly! Our server even made a personal origami just for my birthday!

Tonight I had the pleasure of dining with my son at Takumi-Tei, a high-end Japanese restaurant in Disney world Epcot and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped inside the hall way. I was captivated by the elegant and serene ambiance, which perfectly complemented the essence of Japanese culture. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who guided us through each step of the menu and offered insightful recommendations. They made sure every detail was taken care of, enhancing the overall dining experience. Oh the food – an absolute unbelievable experience. Each dish was meticulously crafted, showcasing the artistry of the skilled chefs. The sushi selection was a perfect balance of flavors and textures, like I had never had before. The menu is a 7 course offering with a impressive variety of authentic Japanese dishes, beautifully presented and artfully plated. The culinary journey included traditional delicacies and innovative creations, all of which exceeded my expectations. One standout feature was the extensive sake collection, allowing us to pair each course with the perfect sake, enhancing the flavors of the meal. While the cost is undoubtedly reflective of the high-end nature of the restaurant, the entire experience was worth every penny. Takumi-Tei offers a memorable and exceptional dining adventure, making it an ideal destination for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself to a truly remarkable meal. In conclusion, Takumi-Tei is among the best Japanese restaurants anywhere. delivering an unparalleled dining experience that combines artistry, authenticity, and impeccable service. If you can please take this adventure and experience it.

This is an omakaze style - fine dining restaurant ($250 per person or vegetarian omakaze $150 per person). It is an elevated experience best for a fancy date or a special celebration. The space is beautiful, and the rooms are themed : rock , paper (prettiest room imo), wood, earth and water. The chefs menu is exquisite, I loved the uni / vinegar shooter in the appetizer, the wagyu is delicious (with black sesame miso sauce). It ends with dessert (the most delicious chestnut crème brûlée ! MUST try) and a matcha ceremony! The presentation is above and beyond. Our server Riko went above and beyond. The sake based cocktails are also very well balanced and delicious. Overall worth the $$$$ for a special occasion.

This was a definite highlight of our trip! Our server Riko was gracious, attentive and knowledgeable. The rest of the service staff was impeccable as well. We had the Japanese Waygu with our 7 courses and did the Saki pairing. I highly recommend the Saki pairing. It was an exquisite experience for our family of 6. We all wanted the night to go on and on! Thank you Riko and the amazing chefs for such a memorable dining experience. We hope to come back! The Erickson Family

Delicious omakase experience. The service was lovely - our servers were from Japan and you could tell that they were truly proud and passionate about the food they were serving. Food was expensive, but fresh and plentiful. Wish that the dining areas had a bit more theming to it, but it was very authentic.

Wow what a fantastic experience! We could not say enough good things about this dining experience and the wonderful food. The sushi and wagyu were the best we have ever had. And our waitress, Yoko, was absolutely wonderful. She has honed her practice and skills and took care of us better than we could have ever wished. We loved this experience and can’t wait to go back!
