We were on the way home from OIA and in search of garlic knots. Google sent us here. We were very pleasantly surprised. They were busy for a Sunday afternoon. We had stuffed pizza, ravioli, chicken Cesar wrap and of course the garlic rolls. Everything was delicious. This was the best Italian food i have had in quite a while. I would travel to eat here again. I liked that the kitchen was open to the dining room and you could see they were clean.
Not only is it a great place to take the family the food is outstanding!!!
Best Italian restaurant in the Orlando area. We visit every few weeks and like to bring family when they are in town too. Today we came to celebrate our 11 year anniversary and we both had different kinds of snapper.
The pizza was delicious even if I am picky with tomato chunks. The wings are delicious 100%, they were addictive. The garlic rolls are a must have.

I have being a loyal customer to Mama Romanos in Landstar Blvd for many years. We are regular customers and my family loves their food. Today is the first time ! that we had order something that was not excellent. We order the food to go, the problem was that the calamari with chili sweet sauce we order was horrible. The taste was like they were cook with old cooking oil old and full of banana peppers, worse it was very small or missing food on plate and not fresh. It was so bad that we had to trow it away. I call to talk to the manager to let him know, but unfortunately after 5 min on hold I decided to leave a review. I don’t want anything or asking for anything for free etc, just to let them know. I usually don’t write bad reviews but maybe they can check their cooking oil and the portion of what is being serve to customers. See the picture. They were more banana peepers than the calamari.
The note ends with a phone call from the manager the day after and that is superior customer satisfaction. Like I mention we have being there customers from day one.

It was my first time here and I loved every single thing about the place! My server (I think his name was Jon?) was amazing and made the experience that much more enjoyable. He not only was timely with checking in and giving ample refills, he also was super friendly and answered all of my many questions and gave honest recommendations while keeping my preferences in mind. Some of his personal recommendations were the La Caprese salad, the hot and spicy wings, the Italian classic, the spaghetti carbonara and the pizza (classic cheese and margherita)! I didn’t end up going with any of them, but just wanted to note that those are some popular choices and some of his personal favorites for anyone interested in his suggestions.
I ended up ordering the rice balls as an appetizer, then the pasta basilica with a house salad. I normally am a caesar salad person, but he mentioned the leafy greens and in-house Italian dressing and I was sold. It was fantastic and a really generous portion size- great way to start off the meal. I had the rice balls after, which were crispy and not too rich, which I loved. I expected it to be filled with massive amounts of beef and veggies but it was balanced out perfectly with the rice. I used the remaining sauce as a dip for the free garlic rolls that came with my pasta basilica.
As for the pasta basilica itself, my server recommended fettuccine but I personally chose spaghetti (you get to choose your noodles- there is no default for this dish since it says, “your favorite pasta” and the server will ask). I was craving something creamy and opted for the pasta basilica for the pesto and it was perfect. The portion was massive for the $16 I paid for that, the salad and the garlic rolls all together, so I overestimated myself and actually had to take half of it home haha. Plenty of chicken (he was worried there was too much broccoli, but I love broccoli so it was perfect) and I personally thought there was almost too much chicken since I don’t eat a lot of meat haha, but that’s just my personal preference and it was cooked wonderfully and was super flavorful without being too heavy so I loved it. I not only ordered fried mozzarella to-go so I could have it with my leftovers but he also even offered me a drink refill to go, which was a first for me and really kind.
If you have any thoughts about coming here, DO IT! I especially recommend it if you’re gonna eat a lot and you’re looking for giant portions/savory flavors. I am probably gonna be a regular from now on haha. Thank you, Mama Romano’s and Jon for the amazing service and food! I’ll be back!
We absolutely love Mama Romano's! We come here or order from here almost weekly and the food is always fresh and service is great. Jon was very helpful and and efficient for our lunch today. Just look at all the food we got for under 30$ including a Greek salad and a spicy chicken soup! (Not pictured). 10/10 recommend!!
I went in for a slice and was impressed right away! It's like being back home in Jersey. The pizza slice was huge! Delicious as well. I will be back to try more of their menu for sure!
Mama Romanos has never disappointed my family and I. Workers are always in a great mood to serve families. The food is always fresh. I feel like I’m in Italy by how fresh their food is. Their prices are reasonable for how great their food is. Don’t even get me started on how amazing one of their servers are. Vanessa was absolutely amazing to have. She was so attentive to our table and always had a smile on her face. Definitely recommend this great restaurant!! 100/10
My favorite nearby restaurant. Love the pizza, love the spaghetti & meatballs. Love the atmosphere. Love the music (sometimes oldies but goodies), like the lighting, really cozy. The service is good. I like the worker’s attitudes; really nice people! Prices are good (not extremely expensive); portions are good. My favorite go restaurant to dine in!
This is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the Orlando area. My family and I have been loyal to this location because of their excellent service and overall great quality of food. We would like to specifically shine light on our favorite waiter, John. John always greats us with a friendly smile and just puts his all at his job. We appreciate him for always making our dining experience memorable. We would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for quality Italian cuisine!
My husband and I have the opportunity to visit this restaurant and wuaooo is a true Italian food. Bailey our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food was amazing I really recommend this place.
