It's always a good place to hit up on the way home for dinner. The food is always hot and good for a fast food establishment. Only once so far have my order been wrong. The person at the window over the years have been 50/50 they either truly care or don't. The last time, the young lady was exceptionally. She caught that the order was wrong, corrected it, while smiling and being professional the whole time.

Captain D’s was my grandmother Mary’s favorite restaurant in Leesburg Florida it’s still there!! That’s why I go to the only one in Orlando close by me!! I would recommend to go early because the cook in the mornings is excellent!! The breading don’t fall off the new big fish is delicious when it’s cooked correctly!! However I had went one late afternoon with attitude customer service!! I ask for the big fish meal with a extra piece of fish two chicken tenders and added the shrimp for 1.99!! Okay the fish wasn’t freshly made but the problem was the shrimps was greasy and old and the batter from the chicken literally peeled off!! I sent the shrimps back and did you know they gave me the same shrimps 😡😡😡😡😡😡!! I waited for the next day because it’s more friendly in the mornings and the manager is a hard working father that has excellent customer service!! He took back my old food replaced and cooked it his self I was very happy!!

We love us and candy. Oh my God I love their fried chicken with malt vinegar and their fried okra. Oh my gosh I can eat it every day. I think I did for a while for a couple months as really really good. The prices aren’t too bad either haven’t gone up too mucha good place. I love it and I go there now cause I don’t go every day anymore.

Overall, the food was great, especially for the price we paid. I got the Garlic and Herb Shrimp - it was $5.99 for 6 shrimp and 1 fish strip plus two sides. The shrimp was good but the fish was excellent. My boyfriend got the fish and chicken meal, which also came with two sides for $10.99. The chicken and fish were perfectly crispy!
Also, the service was great, the cashier had a great sense of humor and was very welcoming!! The other staff were friendly, too. Highly recommend!

I've been here 3x's in the past 3 weeks... let me tell you... they are ON TOP OF THEIR GAME... everytime, wait staff is incredibly polite and efficient... everytime, they ask if I want to add-on shrimp, everytime, the togo order is accurate and HOT... I'm looking for trouble baby, can't find any yet! LOL 🤣 -- Khianti took my order this week... more updates to follow; cause I'm LIKE THAT ;-)

I love Captain D's! But it was different.. Haven't been back for a while & won't, go back for a while because the fish have gotten smaller&was kind of dry, with no breaded crumbs. Green beans were cold, but my Okra was good!

Delicious fried fish 🐟 and you can pick your own sides so you can eat what you like rather than what comes with the fish. Great idea.

As a recent pescatarian who eliminated everything fast-food, I was having the obvious fast-food craving and my husband found this place randomly. I FELL IN LOVE FROM THE FIRST BITE. As you can see I ate my bite pretty quickly. It was delicious. And the whole plate was on point. I hate hushpuppies and I LOVED these!!! Ds sauce is the best I've ever had. I didn't eat the potato bc of the bacon. Thanks for a pescatarian fast food joint!

The food was great however they are clearly short staffed the manager was very aggravated with the other 2 employees (she treated them like they were incompetent) and everyone was forced to go Inside to order since the card machine in drive thru was out of order (they could have used one of the registers at the front counter to take the drive thru orders, just chose not to) food was hot,fresh, and great. The service and managers attitude could most definitely be improved.

Can be a little pricey depending on what you order, but you definitely get plenty of food. Place is clean. Food is always done properly and without errors. Never had a single problem.

The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. The person ringing me and my family up was to busy talking to other workers than paying attention to what we were ordering. When our food was ready they just sat it on the counter without calling it out so another family that came in after us, grabbed our food. The lady that sat our food on the counter said she wasn't running food out if she also had to do drive-thru. So even though the food was good, I'm not returning unless the service gets an upgrade.

This restaurant never fails in disappointing, we ordered a family meal today and got burnt corn soggy fries ! Waist of time and money! Corporate will be emailed the pictures and the area director will be left a message since it's the weekend I'll follow up on Monday! Horrible service!

Stopped by tonight and ordered 12 shrimp, 1pc fish and fries. Received 2 PC chkn 2pc fish fries and bread sticks. Went to correct my order, by this time the food was cold, explained what happened and they just gave me 12 shrimp and a small order of fries. Mind you I still have the cold food, so now I paid $8 for 12 shrimp, side of fries and a whole entire meal that was wrong to begin with, cold and a waste of my time driving back and forth. I feel like I got robbed....
