My boyfriend and I went to Pio Pio tonight. WOW! The food was delicious- my favorites were the beef empanada, mixed seafood ceviche, and the yellow rice! Everything was great. Our server Juanita was excellent. Great recommendations, service, and a wonderful personality! We will definitely be going back!

A Latin gem. We decided on this restaurant because on a visit to Panama they were everywhere but was more of a fast food chain. This Pio Pio is a bar/restaurant. The service was excellent. The food came out at the right pace and when we were finished with the appetizers the main meal was brought out. They always checked on us to make sure we had no unmet wants. Now for the food: absolutamente delicioso! We had the Mofongo with steak. The steak was well done and seasoned to perfection. The Mofongo was a little bland but still good. The quarter chicken with arroz Blanca con frijoles negro was oh so good. The chicken was fall off the bone tender with just the right amount of seasoning and crispy skin and very little fat. The chicken sandwich was mouth watering with oozy cheese. It was also a very generous size and steamy hot. The maduros tasted home made. Everyone had Batidos and slurped every last delicious drop. The servings were so large that we did not have space for dessert. But if we did, it would have been the tres leches and the flan. We will definitely return and glad we found Pio Pio.

Pio Pio Latin Cuisine truly delivered an outstanding culinary experience. The Colombian food I enjoyed here was nothing short of authentic and utterly delicious. From the first bite, it was evident that their dedication to flavor and tradition is second to none. The service I received was truly excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure that my dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. A special mention goes to their cheese arepa, which was a delightful explosion of flavors. And those empanadas? Crispy on the outside and bursting with deliciousness on the inside. With every aspect of my visit exceeding expectations, I have no hesitation in awarding Pio Pio Latin Cuisine a well-deserved 5-star rating. If you're seeking authentic Colombian cuisine and exceptional service, this is the place to be.

Delicious! If you are considering it, make your choice and GO. It's soooooo good. We had the Pork Belly and Arepa appetizer. Wow!!!! I had the Mofongo, sooo tasty. My husband had one of the Columbian dishes and it was yummy. My daughter had the Steak and arepa dinner. Yum! The WHITE SAUCE....I want to buy it. It's DELICIOUS. The atmosphere is cheerful and the staff is very attentive.

The restaurant is nice. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and happy to explain some of the menu options. Our food came out rather quickly but was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend their seafood ceviche. The music videos playing on their TV's may have been a little loud, But overall a very good experience.

I heard bad reviews of this place, but when I visited, I had a good time! My family was seated immediately: however, we were not greeted as fast. The TVs were playing music videos with Karol G, Marc Anthony, J-Lo, and all the Latinos. We finally heard from our server. He was nice, but we had to remind him of my sister’s Postabon. We ordered starters and just off those we were full! I had Arepa & pork belly. For my entree I got mix ceviche. YUMMMMMMM! My daughter got calamari and it was huge. I would return just for the ceviche!

We hadn’t had decent chicharron in a while so we got the appetizer which comes with three adorable arepas. The pork belly was fried perfectly crisp but still moist inside with those great caramelized bits that get stuck in your teeth. The arepas were super crunchy outside but fluffy inside. I got the lunch combo chicken soup, salad and 1/4 roast chicken. The broth of the soup was so warm and comforting, if I were sick it would have cured me. There was a nice big chunk of white meat and tender potatoes, green plantains, and corn garnished with cilantro. The chicken was moist with a crisp skin and flavorful throughout. The salad dressing was a garlic dressing that I suspect was the garlic sauce mixed with vinegar and absolutely delicious. My father had the bandeja paisa so he could try a bit of everything. The steak was a bit dry and lacking in flavor but the runny egg and their garlic and green hot sauces were more than enough to fix that. The sausage was well seasoned with a snappy casing but juicy inside. The pork belly was just as good as the appetizer and the beans were a bit sweet but lots of seasoning and tender. Sweet plantains made an excellent gooey, caramelized break from the savory. $50 for appetizer, two iced teas, and plenty of leftovers. I definitely recommend!

Great spot to get your Latin food fix. The Bandeja Paisa is always a good choice. Drinks are good. Service is usually pretty quick and the food is always tasty. Make sure to try the green and white sauces either separately or mixed for a little extra flavor on your dish!

The food was good, but the big combo for 4 people didn't have enough rice and beans for 4 people. Lots of fries and plantains just need to do better on the rice and beans portions as that is a staple for Latin food. Next time, we will go with individual entrees. Will definitely be back.
