Orlando, a city known for its diverse culinary landscape, is home to Achiote Orlando Puerto Rican Restaurant - a gem that offers an authentic taste of Puerto Rican cuisine. This vibrant eatery is more than just a place to eat; it's a celebration of culture, flavor, and familial warmth. Ambiance and Decor From the moment you walk in, Achiote Orlando welcomes you with bright colors and a lively atmosphere that echoes the spirit of Puerto Rico. The decor is a cheerful blend of Caribbean flair and modern comfort, making you feel like you've stepped into a festive San Juan bistro. Salsa music plays softly in the background, setting the rhythm for an upbeat dining experience. Culinary Delights The menu is a testament to Puerto Rican culinary traditions, with dishes crafted from recipes passed down through generations. The star of the show is, without a doubt, the Mofongo - a tantalizing dish of mashed plantains, garlic, and a choice of fillings such as shrimp, chicken, or chicharrón, all perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavors. The Pernil Asado, a slow-roasted pork shoulder, is another standout, with its tender meat falling off the bone, accompanied by a skin so crispy it crackles upon the slightest touch. It's a dish that invites you to savor every bite with genuine delight. Beverages and Bar No Puerto Rican meal is complete without a refreshing beverage, and Achiote Orlando's bar is well-stocked with tropical favorites. The Piña Colada is creamy and sweet, with just the right amount of rum, while the passion fruit mojito offers a tangy twist on the classic cocktail, both complementing the rich dishes excellently. Service with a Smile The warmth of Puerto Rican hospitality is mirrored by the restaurant's staff. Service is prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. The waiters are eager to share their love for the food, providing recommendations and anecdotes that enhance the dining experience. This level of care and attention to detail is what transforms a good meal into a memorable one. Family-Friendly and Welcoming Achiote Orlando is a family-friendly spot that welcomes everyone with open arms. It's common to see multi-generational families gathered around the table, enjoying their meals while laughter and chatter fill the air. This familial essence is the heartbeat of the restaurant, making every visitor feel like a part of the Achiote family. Conclusion Achiote Orlando Puerto Rican Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Puerto Rican cuisine or looking to try it for the first time. It's a place where every dish tells a story of heritage and home cooking. The restaurant does an admirable job of showcasing the island's gastronomy while providing a convivial environment perfect for a casual dinner, a family outing, or a festive celebration. When you dine at Achiote, you don't just eat; you experience the love, tradition, and flavor of Puerto Rico right in Orlando.

Today myself and my family visited Achiote for the first time. I rarely post reviews but I have to share the amazing experience we had today. What a treat to eat my own authentic Ruerto Rican food that was of high quality matched by excellent service especially by our Waiter, Johnathan. Johnathan made us feel like we were at home surrounded by love and family. Today this is so rare that I have to give a special shout out to Achiote for doing the Puert Rican heritage justice! Thank you!

Fantastic authentic Puerto Rican cuisine! This is not a fast food place (even though you can order to go), it is a family style sit down restaurant and as an added Super Bonus ask for JONATHAN. This young man knows what service is all about! Very personable and so very attentive. If I could give 10 stars I would do so happily! PS the prices are very fair for high quality food.

Food is always delicious. All the entries here are really good. The service was great. The octopus was delicious. Also, the fried plantains were perfect. Just the way I like.

The food was very good! The service also was on point. Location has plenty of parking. The atmosphere was a little off as was the A/C in the place. It was definitely a little on the warm side. The prices were a little hogh but overall it was a good place to eat

The price on the online menu is wrong. I ordered 2 navedeño online is $12.39 each when I got there it was 14.$$ each for a total of $31.$$ that's not right. When I told the young lady she said it has been mentioned to the owner and he does nothing about. No issue with the taste of the food.

Visit this place for a quick early dinner. The food was very good and also great and friendly service. The price is a bit higher that I think it should be, but the portions of food are good. I had white rice, red beans, and fried pork chops. I will definitely go again as I will like to try different dishes.
