I’ve tried the food! Super creative concepts yet traditional recipes... could not be more excited!!! Orlando needs real Mexican food, a real concept rather than “hard shell “ and lettuce all over the place!
MX Taco is a great spot for Mexican. The Carnitas tacos are the best I have had. They only have corn tortilla but they keep their form well. The Birria tacos were also good - I had the beef. The sauce it comes with is not as good as other Birria I have had. The rice and beans were very flavorful. I would skip the street corn, it has a bit of an odd taste. It was good mixed with the rice and beans though. Overall a nice place to get a few tacos.
Truly an amazing experience! They opened about a month ago in the milk district by Whisky Lou's. The food is authentic and taste amazing! The tacos are small, but packed with flavor! The owner was a chef at the Ritz Carlton in Mexico's (I think it was Cancun), and he was very kind and professional. Everything we ordered, he gave a backstory, history and flavor profile. It was dining, with an experience! The hot sauce was amazing! Everything is made in house, including the amazing hot sauce! They are flavorful over hot and take the tacos to the next level! The avocado ice cream is a must try!its sweet and savory at the same time. The toppings accompany the dessert perfectly! This is truly a hidden hem in the Milk district and well worth the trip!!
Absolutely loved the authenticity of this taco joint. I am a chef and obviously hard to impressed but Chef Ryan surpasses my expectations. Great customer service! Loved the Homie Mexican atmosphere with an edgy twist! The proteins were well seasoned, great hot sauces, good prices, presentation was colorful and desirable. I cannot wait to bring my friends and family here! I just want MORE TACOS from MX Tacos!
Eating as we speak and had to stop what I was doing to leave these 5 stars. What an exceptional experience! The chef here was taking care of us at the counter and is so helpful and wonderful! I have celiacs disease and she was amazing in making me feel safe and welcomed(very rare for me). It’s also her birthday! Happy birthday if you are reading this. You made such a lovely special lunch for us! Coming back soon and bringing friends !

Awesome little hole in the wall place serving delicious tacos and mexican style street corn. Salsa and guacamole were delicious. Chips were fresh and crispy. Tried three different tacos and all 3 were great. Friendly staff as well. Highly recommend if your in the area.
This small little taco shop is full of big authentic flavor! My favorite tacos were the Chilorio (braised beef) and the Camaron (seasoned shrimp). The Queso was unique and delicious, don't forget to try their homemade hot sauces!
Went here to try out someplace new for my taco craving. Love tacos. This small eatery is in the first phase of opening. Not all of the menu was available yet, but let me tell you, what was available was fantastic. Great flavors from the pork, carnitas, beef and chorizo was amazing. Easily the most incredible taco shell I have ever eaten. The Mexican corn was so good I ordered it twice.
Went to grab a taco and go when I first stepped in, but the food was so good my wife and I ate every taco he had. Really enjoyed the shrimp taco with the freshly made watermelon and pineapple drinks they mske.
I will be first in line when the whole menu is available next week. This is a place where everyone should go try. You will not be disappointed. The best thing for my wife and daughter is that everything is gluten and peanut free.
Only in soft opening and they’re doing amazing things here! The flavors of the tacos are delicious, the corn is out of this world, loved the avocado ice cream and the house horchata, and I could have bottles of the house hot sauces!! Can’t wait to see what more they do!
Must try. They got everything right including the tortilla which in my opinion is the hardest to perfect. The Mexican corn side dish is a must try. Not a formal dinning place. Only a couple of small tables inside.
Great tacos! This was my first time here and I had the beef & chorizo tacos and a pulled pork taco. They were all amazing and I will definitely be back.
