Looking for dinner to eat near Amway Center in downtown Orlando? Never have we eaten such gratifying, scrumptious, and exquisite meal. From their corn bread, to calamari, chicken & waffles, cheeseburger, chicken Alfredo pasta, and blackened shrimp scampi with yellow rice and sautéed vegetables...OMG! We were so full and the menu price is good too. Great staff and employees, and very friendly! We will definitely go there again when we’re in Orlando. Awesome food Chef Eddies Restaurant!

This is probably the best place to eat in the Orlando area. Every time I visit I make sure this is one place I definitely go. It's hard to choose a favorite meal because everything there is so good, even the peanut butter & jelly bacon burger. The only negative I have about them is that they are only in Orlando. If they were in Miami I'd be there constantly.

Chef Eddie catered BBQ for a work even and it was wonderful. He arrived 15 minutes early, was very organized and helped us carry the dishes upstairs. The food was wonderful. It was hot, fresh and everyone loved it. Couldn’t rec him more!

So I bought a Groupon for this place. It was like $30 for $60 worth of food, so I bring two other people with me and we order $60 worth of food and we try our best. We started off with Fried Green Tomatoes (Dipped in seasoned batter, deep fried. With Parmesan grits & gravy), and we got the added crab meat for like $4 more. The tomatoes themselves were awesome. They were the diameter of about a soft ball, and they had a great meaty bite to them. The breading was light and wonderfully seasons. The grits were done just right. Perfect. Honestly, though, I don't think the crab meat added anything to the dish, so save your $4, please. Then we ordered a vegetable meal with three different sides to munch on, fried broccoli, french fries, and onion rings. The fried broccoli was awesome. Fried broccoli always it. Neither of the people I was with had ever had it before, so if you're one of those people, please try this. It's unexpectedly delicious. The french fries were eh. Skip them. The onion rings were good. They had a good batter-to-onion ratio, but I wish there had been more of them on my plate. We also had six of the Jalapeno Crackling Muffins. Six for only $5, and or server gave us seven. Score! They were good. Just imagine jalapeno cornbread in muffin form. I recommend them, if you plan on ordering the barbecue. Next we got our hands on the BBQ Ribs/Chicken/Pulled Pork Combo Platter. The ribs were actually not very good. They were overdone and chewy. Enough sauce helped me with them, but they just weren't done right. I ended up not trying the chicken. All this food made me have to prioritize, and I just don't particularly care for BBQ chicken. The pulled pork wasn't pulled at all, but it was chunked and drizzled with sauce. These were actually very good. I enjoyed eating them with the muffins. Delish! The two sides we got with the BBQ platter were the hush puppies and the mac & cheese. Both are very good. The mac & cheese actually won best side item overall for me. It's in a little ramekin and the whole top of it seems like it was broiled so the cheese is a little crust, and it's ooey gooey underneath. Please, have it! Finally, we ordered two types of chicken and waffles, butter pecan and sweet potato. The chicken wings that came with both of them were very good. Not at all greasy and seasoned well. Really good fried chicken. The only gripe I have is that I wish that there were other pieces to the chicken there other than just wings. Ask your server about this if you feel like you might feel the same way. The waffles were good. I preferred the butter pecan. Those pecans added a real nice bite to the dish. I actually didn't like the mashed sweet potato on top of the waffle that much. I didn't hate it, but the flavor just wasn't strong enough to make me think it was a good idea. Also, with the chicken and waffles, the only option for a sauce I was given was syrup. I love sweet chicken and waffles, but I would also like the choice between a sweet or a savory sauce to go with it. Honey mustard would have been appreciated. Overall, I had a great experience here. It was good, home-style cooking that you don't find in most places unless you want to pay an arm and a leg. Head for the chicken and waffles, but maybe steer clear of the BBQ platters. There are plenty other options on the menu. I'm glad Groupon showed me this place, because I will be back.

We went around lunch time - 11:45 AM. There were very few customers in at the time. Once 12:00 PM hit, it picked up. There was a great lunch special that my friend took advantage of. I had chicken and waffles - phew! Very great experience and is definitely a place that I would recommend and come back to.

Let me start out by saying these guys that run this place and just amazing. Friendliest and most welcoming people you could ask for. I thought I was with family. They second we came in the door they were more than happy to take care of us. The food is AMAZING, did I mention AMAZING. BEST BBQ I'VE EVER EATEN HANDS DOWN. The food came out in perfect timing and they were nice enough to even give us an extra plate of ribs. Free ribs are always good, but these were just SO PERFECT. EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO EAT HERE. There is no way you will be disappointed, in fact it will blow your mind how good it is.

Very tasty and authentic! I have a lot of country family (Shouts out to Grandma) and their food taste just like home. Well cooked well seasoned and super friendly atmosphere! The Mac and cheese is the real thanksgiving version none of that soupy stuff.

This place is amazing! Every time I go, they outdo themselves! I normally get the chicken and waffles with a side of collard greens, and it’s incredible every time. I recommend Chef Eddies to anyone who enjoys a good meal! P.S. I am a local Orlando artist. If you would like to check me out, I’m on Spotify, Apple, Soundcloud, etc. as “hunterdrinkswater.” Thanks for reading my review! God bless you!

Our son gift to us was a dinner for 8 prepared by Chef Eddie's Catering. Everything about the experience was 5 star. Chef Eddie arrived with food nicely package at the time promised. We ordered the package with ribs, pulled pork, chicken, sweet potatoes, collard greens, cornbread muffins and sweet tea. The food was delicious and plenty for 8 people. We will use Chef Eddies's Catering again...and again!

The food was very good! I ordered the turkey wing, jerk chicken, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and macaroni. I chose the option of 2 meats and 3 sides, Hubby ordered oxtails, macaroni and greens and liked it as well. We were given more than enough food. (I'm 8mo prego so that was perfect!) We were greeted by the Chef when we entered the cafe and was told to sit where we liked. There are just a few things that are keeping me from giving this restaurant 5 stars: They are understaffed and need a better staff presence. The decor is also a little out dated which can affect the cleanliness look and feel of the restaurant.
