Pepe's Cantina

Man oh man. 1st of all my husband and I have been here in Orlando for 3 days. When we walked in there was absolutely NO customers! Understandably we questioned if the food would be good or not considering nobody is here.... But I saw the pictures on Google maps and I really had my stomach set on the sampler plate I saw so we stayed and we are so glad we did. Our server was super sweet and very attentive! The restaurant is clean and organized and the food was spot on! By far the best meal we have had since getting here.... Good job!

Pepes Cantina has the WOW factor. The grilled chicken tacos blasted with flavor and fresh ingredients. The pickled onion was a nice change to traditional tacos, and the cilantro aioli was perfect. And the al pastor tacos...where do I begin? Bursting with flavor; savory; moist..excellent. Salsa was freshly made and had plenty of peppers to add the right amount of heat, and the diced onions were right sized - not huge chunks, and not tiny peices. Service was absolutely first class. We walked in a few minutes before opening and the host was kind enough to let us in and wait until e official opening. This was kind because we all know Orlando in August. In all - a place I highly recommend. Viva pepes!

We went here the first night of our trip to Orlando and all four of our family, including teens had an excellent meal. The food was great, the margaritas strong and the waitress busy but pleasant! Enjoyed it so much went back on our last night also. Unfortunately they were short staffed and our food took a very long time. We enjoyed our chips and salsa and the manager/hostess came over to tell us they were not charging us for our meals. The meals came out delayed but great. We asked for our drink bill and they told us there was no charge at all. Smart and very generous move for a great restaurant. We left a generous tip and wish we lived locally. We would highly recommend this restaurant!

I travel a ton for work around the nation. I just found a place with rice and beans that remind of my moms cooking. The carnitas platter was great and even took me back 2 decades to a taste of when I was a kid. Who would have thought being next to resorts expecting mediocre food. Coming back for sure. Try the hot sauce(habanero) too. Good flavor.
