Benjamin French Bakery & Cafe

Great little French hole in the wall. The coffee was excellent and the lava cake was divine. The ambience is relaxing and both servers were attentive and nice, always with a smile 👍. Check restaurant out if you are in the area. Plenty of decent restaurants within walking distance. Will return. Thank you!

I get around Orlando a lot and I have to tell you about Benjamin’s!! Wow! Exceptional Food! Taste and combination on point. I love French cafes but this place far exceeded my expectations! Wonderful employees that are super friendly and helpful! The iced latte I got was cinnamon and caramel and was perfectly balanced with sweet and creamy notes! The sandwich I got was on a baguette and was huge!! I thought it would be half the size I got! The sandwich was called the Monroe I think. It was layered with so much flavor and the bread was fresh and delicious! This is a must see for Breakfast, Brunch and lunch!! Bring the girls or a business meet up! I came alone and had a wonderful spot to people watch. The inside was clean and cool with lovely lowfi tunes playing. I will definitely come here again it beats anything else here at Thornton park!

This place was outstanding!!! The staff (Zoey and Valerie— sorry if I spelled the names wrong) were so kind, friendly, and helpful. My family and I struggled to decide what bakery item to get (they all looked delicious), and asked what they recommended. We were pointed towards the berry cheesecake croissant and ordered it. It was made fresh, and it was delicious. I’ve eaten a lot of sweets in my life, and this ranks as one of the best. We sat inside and I found the cafe to be clean, well taken care of, and a great size (not too big and not too small). To sum up, Benjamin’s is a welcoming environment with great staff and great pastries.

We drove here from our hotel near the airport, after only 5 hours of sleep and a 12-hour long trip the day/night before, because the pictures online looked so good. Boy, are we glad we did! Their selection is exactly what we hoped for and more, the atmosphere is peaceful with chill jazzy music, conducive to a relaxed, pleasant breakfast. The servers are friendly and funny, the food is delicious and authentic. Every town needs a Benjamin French Bakery! Vive le croissant ! 🥐🇫🇷

Appx 5 days ago, I posted a review. The owner responded. I returned today and tried an apple Danish and enjoyed it! The crust was flaky and melt in your mouth. I also was given a surprise (a replacement tart) which made my last tart experience a thing of the past. Thank you to the owner for reaching out and for being open to even hearing the not-so-good reviews.
