The food is already clocked so don’t expect your meal to be super hot. The price is fair considering the big food portions. Great place for a quick lunch. The chicken was delicious and the pork carnitas were fried to perfection. The morcilla was ok. Plenty of seats available. No music so you hear everyone’s conversations. Nice decoration of the PR island.

Intro: I placed my takeout order on DoorDash. I ordered the Carne Frita ( fried pork) with tostones(plantains fried) with white rice and beans. One of the many company combos Matt Latin bbq has to offer. The restaurant has a precook layout. As seen in the picture. Overall: My order was fresh not much to complain about. The pork was just a bit salty but well seasoned. The beans were a bit watery. But to each their own. The dish was well prepared. One thing I would say. Stay away from the oil garlic mojo. Wasn’t my favorite. Ended squeezing a lime on top of my pork to give it extra flavor. Would I eat there again? Most likely, just to try something new on the menu. The restaurant has different combos to choose from. Price: $11.72 after taxes. Wait time: food was ready when I arrived. Short line

I was searching for some Home cooked “Sancocho” and decided to try Matt”s BBQ Restaurant. Their food looked very clean and add an additional platter. Although, I had plans to eat at home, the aroma of the food and the presentation of food was very intriguing that I ate at the restaurant. The food was outstanding and the staff I met individually to thank them for making this delicious food. I appreciate the “stellar” customer service that Jose, Eve, Fran and Ariane showed to me. Hands down, this place is authentic! Thank you !

I ordered a fried fish combo with rice and fried plantains. Overall I was completely satisfied with my meal. The fish was fried fresh at the time of order. It was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and yet not dry. The flaky crust on it was the perfect texture. The rice is delish. Just be careful as it is prepared with large chunks of chicken. So I found some bones in my rice. It's not really an issue, but you want to be careful with it. The plantains were delish. I love fried plantains, and these did not disappoint. Would definitely go back in the future. With a fountain drink the bill was $14. So a good value in my opinion.

Wow! I LUV Puerto Rican food and this place is awesome! The decor, music, and food ... reminds of sitting at a place in Puerto Rico! Food options with my fave being the rice n beans and amarillos (plantains) and fried fish. Wish they had some tostones and my fave PR dish, pastelon. Have been here a couple times and will definitely be back. Staff is friendly and plenty of seating for group. Def worth a visit!!

It was a little difficult placing the order because everyone spoke Spanish 😆 but the staff took their time and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. I really appreciate that. I ordered the roasted pork combo and my husband ordered the ribs with yellow rice and potato salad… IT WAS DELICIOUS 🤤🤤🤤 The meat was tender falling off the bone. Definitely would recommend this restaurant if you want to try some Puerto Rican Barbecue. Them Latin boys can cook 😎💯

A really good experience! Delicious food- roasted chicken was tender and flavorful. The roast pork - yum! Well seasoned and the sides all came in at a high taste. Potato salad was so creamy and an oniony flavor. Maduros/ sweet plantains so sweet not greasy like so many places. Batata/ sweet potatoes ... tender and sweet. This place is a buffet type restaurant and they maintained the freshness and flavor of a sit down served restaurant. They are very busy - they offer take out and tables. You can order on line. Daily specials. Our meals were filling and included the drink as well. Definitely worth a try....we will be back and sharing about them with family and friends!
