Great Chinese food. Better than what I’ve had on the east side Orlando. Value was there for the price and portion. Be warned, if it says spicy , it’s non American spicy.
Second visit. Food fabulous. Service seriously lacking. But still, food fabulous.
This is the best Chinese food I’ve eaten so far! And that is saying something cause I love Chinese cuisine and have been to a lot of chinese restaurants.
The traditional dishes here are like no other. Their hot pot was a treat ! It had lotus root, potatoes, chicken, beef and shrimp and the spices were just perfect.
I didn’t expect much from the octopus when the dish first came out. But it was out of this world tasty! I enjoyed everything here .

Sichuan, situated in Southwest China, occupies the easternmost part of the Tibetan Plateau. Its capital city is Chengdu and its cuisine is famous for an abundant use of hot peppers.

Having recently listened to an outstanding Splendid Table (NPR) broadcast highlighting Mapo Tofu, I eagerly ordered the dish. Forgetting my only moderately developed spice tolerance, I requested a “medium” heat level.

This was easily both the hottest and the finest Chinese entrée I’ve ever consumed, and walked that fine line between intense flavor and outright pain. But what a spice this was! It came on in psychedelic layered waves, like a resplendent ballet company pirouetting with strength and grace across my lips and palate. Unbelievable.
Very tasty offerings that were authentic. A bit expensive, but the flavors were spot on. A good spot for a nicer Chinese meal served family style.
An amazing spicy little restaurant that you can miss if you don't look! The food was THE best Chinese food I have had in Orlando! We decided to order things we never seen on a Chinese menu before (aka not your run of the kill dishes). Chengdu did not disappoint. We ended up having the pork dumplings, baby squid in chill sauce (cold dish) and slow cooked pork belly! (Probably the one of the best pork belly I have had). We also got the side of rice since we were more curious about the dishes. Amazing food we will be back. And if your too far from this location try their Baldwin park location next to the Publix.
The Chengdu chicken was so so good. I loved the hot and sour soup as well. Would definitely come back
Excellent food. Especially enjoyed the whole fish 🐟 Friendly efficient service. Well maintained dining area. Relaxed atmosphere.
Great place for spicy Chinese food in Orlando.
The spicy grilled fish is exceptional
Wonderful food experience. All the dishes came put promptly, service a d ordering was prompt. The flavors though, so much flavor!! If you're a Sichuan fan, thus is the place to go in Orlando. Strongly recommend the Chendu chicken, maps tofu, wonton, dumplings, spareribs. Actually, I'm sure all their dishes are good! Huge selection of foods! Service was great, kitchen and facility was clean. I wish I had one of these where I love, I'd eat here everyday.
Went in earlier on Valentines Day, don't want to wait in case overcrowded. We had a few take-out at this place before. Green Sichuan Peppercorn Fish Fillet is our favorite, even it numbs your lips on the very first bite, we still love the flavor.
This time we took a recommended whole live fish, which costed almost double. To be true I didn't taste that much difference and still good, with a large bowl.
The green beans were very good too. The other two dishes were just average, one had too much oil. The bill was pretty HIGH. We left just before 7 pm and the place was about half full. Will be back to try more.
Don’t be deceived by the pictures, the portions are really small. The price is pretty average compared to other authentic Chinese restaurants but the portion is much smaller. However, it is very authentic and you can taste the quality and freshness in the ingredients. If they made their portions bigger this would be a 5/5 spot.
