We are looking for some good Japanese food in Orlando and found this little restaurant based on google reviews. The location is close to Universal Studios as compared to other attractions. We are from Hawaii so very spoiled on the price and quality of good Japanese food there. The good here is above average based on Orlando standards though. The tonkasut probably has a bit more sauce than it should. The sushi rice has a lack of rice vinegar and the rice quality could be improved. The fish is of standard quality, not having fresh food available in Orlando is common issue here. Tempera is great. Service is very fast, food came out of kitchen quickly which we really appreciate and workers are efficient. We would come back again.

Amazing sushi from a Japanese family owned small restaurant. None of that chain restos, this is the real deal. Had tempura udon noodle soup and ordered the $75 boat. Took me back to my time in Japan. They had the chu-toro/o-toro which was some of the best sashimi I’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you’re around this area, at Rosen Creek resort or just looking for authentic Japanese sushi/sashimi place.

Best nigiri and Sashimi Sushi in Orlando. Just to preface.I recently moved to Orlando from Charlotte NC about a year ago. Until I've dine in Sushi Tomi, I genuinely believed that Orlando's affordable sushi scene was underwhelming and mainly focused on overpriced Sushi rolls with too much rice and not enough ingredients. Also I thought that quality Sushi was only reserved for people who are willing to pay top dollar. But after I dined at Sushi tomi yesterday I'm glad I was proven wrong. I had the Sushi boat for two, chicken katsu, katsudon, and some freshwater eel and uni. Every bite was amazing and made me remember what great nigiri and sashimi was supposed to taste like. All of it is fresh and traditionally made. I will be coming back anytime I have a japanese food craving and look forward to trying everything on the menu.

Quick & efficient service. I got the spicy tuna don, which was delicious but ended up being too spicy for me. My friend got a curry dish and said it was one of the better curries he has had in his life. Their chicken karaage was also pretty good. Older Japanese adults patronize this place, so perhaps the food is legit.

Have you ever had great sushi? Traditional Japanese cuisine? Stop into Sushi Tomi and experience real Japanese cuisine. Cold beer, spicy tuna rolls, and so much more. The tuna tataki had just a little fat on the tuna, made this oh so much better. Check our pictures of what fresh sushi should really look like! Very clean, bidet in men’s room, and awesome service. I literally don’t know what else to say, we had an awesome meal and will be stopping in again!

The food was really quite good. It was very authentic and brought me back to Asia. After trying only the Katsu Curry, I want to go back and try a number of their other offerings. Very flavorful, friendly staff. A small restaurant that fills up surprisingly quickly. It was just two of us, so sitting at the bar worked, but it would have been tough to bring the family.

Amazing sushi! Probably the best sushi in Orlando. Restautant with so many Japanese customers ( it reminded me the restaurants in flushing NY with local authentic customers ). Top quality gosh. Tempura to die for. Amazing wines to be paired with these creations . 95 points . Solid
