Tambu lounge is located on the second floor of the Polynesian resort. It provides a great atmosphere, good food, and delicious cocktails. The bar area is first come first serve which is very convenient when waiting on your room or other restaurant reservations.

i shouldn 't review the Tambu Lounge because it might only cause more people to go there who will get in my way. however, to be fair, i LOVE this place! servers are always friendly, the food options - which are limited unfortunately - never fail to satisfy. the only way to improve the Tambu Lounge would be if it were outside and a constant sunny and 85 degrees. of course it's expensive. it's Disney, comes with the territory, so i don't go here more than maybe once or twice a month. last night i got two beers, a sushi plate, rice noodles, and glazed wings. that plus the tip was around $75. it's something that you give as a gift to yourself every once in a while. the short ribs are great, but they sometimes run out if you go later in the day. one real downside is not much seating is available. also, they have two long pub-height tables that i would avoid. they try to cram six people at them, but they really should only seat four people. i sat there once and won't do it again. i watched a woman sit at one last night and smack her head on the bottom of a wall-mount tv because she was trying to keep some distance from the person next to her. if the greeter wants to sit me there, i tell them i'll wait either for seats at the bar or a smaller, two- or four-person table.

Love this place! The Tambu Lounge inside the Polynesian Hotel is a great hidden dinner spot. They serve food from the adjacent ’Ohana restaurant, which means you can get the best of that famously delicious food without playing the all you can eat prices next door. The drinks are very tasty too and the service is amazing!!! Shout out to Morgan and all of the staff there on their excellent service and mixology.

If you want all the tasty delicacies of O'Hana's without the hassle of trying to secure a reservation for it, give Tambu Lounge a whirl - it's more budget friendly and considerably less time-consuming than an actual sit-down meal, besides being surrounded by relaxing casual ambiance. [Not recommended for extended families, especially with younger children]. Don't forget to order the potstickers and noods!

What better place can you find to deal with the days full of excited shreiks of kids hyped up on way too much sugar? Look no further than the Tambu lounge confidently just a few steps away from the monorail. It has a full bar, you can order pot stickers, noodles, and bread pudding without a reservation to the always packed Ohana or Kona Cafe. I always go for the Lapu Lapu which is a magical concoction of pineapple orange and guava juice and different rums which will dull the pain your ears have suffered. I'm there frequently enough that the bartenders know me by sight.

Tambu Lounge is our first stop whenever we visit the Polynesian Resort. The staff are always friendly and attentive. The drinks are always delicious and put you right into vacation mode. You can order some of the amazing food that Ohana offers right at the Tambu Lounge & skip the reservation.

Francisco, our bartender kept the drinks flowing and was very knowledgeable. I was having so much fun that I left my bag at the bar and he found me in the dining room just to return it. I highly recommend the Tambu Lounge to anyone who needs a drink at Polynesian Resort.

The Tambu Lounge is a popular, but easily overlooked bar at the entrance of the Polynesian Resort restaurant Ohana. Fast, experienced, and professional bartenders. Fun and vibrant atmosphere. Table and bar seating, plus room for standing. Small food menu (mostly items from nearby Ohana ot Kona Café which is a plus!). Highly recommended for your monorail bar crawl.

Great stop for drinks waiting on Ohana restaurant. Plenty of seating both at the bar and table top. Good drinks with plenty of selections.
