Famas Pizza And Pasta

Food was delicious!!! The gluten free cauliflower crust was a great option for me. My husband had the chicken parm which he said was amazing. The fresh garlic bread also he said was probably the best he’s had. We arrived right at 5 pm so we placed our order at the counter and paid; then sat down. Seating and atmosphere could be improved but overall we had a lovely meal which was delicious and well priced!

My wife and I absolutely love coming here. We love the pizza here and I would eat it over pizza from Italy any day. The staff are very friendly and care about the experience you have. The dining area reminds of the picturesque eateries in rome that you can find down a side street. Worth every penny spent.

To those reviewers who complained about the service fee, please consider staying home if you can't afford to dine out. This place is a gem to me—fresh and delicious pasta, much better than chain restaurants. Whether it's authentic Italian or not, I won't know until I visit Italy. Regardless, it tasted quite Italian to me, and that's what matters. It's well worth it! The portions were generous, so much so that we had no room left for dessert. Definitely coming back next time! For appetizers, we enjoyed mozzarella sticks and meatballs. They looked so good that I forgot to take pictures, and they tasted even better! The marinara sauce was different from what I've had before, but in a good way. For entrees, my wife had the gnocchi a la vodka (an excellent recommendation from our server), my son had the calzone, and I had the fettuccine bolognese. Everything was delicious! I'll be returning next week for sure!

The food here is really good. Authentic Italian. Too bad it’s in this little space in a strip mall. Prices are what you’d expect in a much nicer place, but reflective of the food quality. Most everything is made from scratch so don’t be in a hurry. BE WARNED: they added an 18% service charge to the bill (and there were only 2 of us). I would have tipped 20%, but that irritated me. I guess, they get a lot of folks who don’t tip. Recommend.

My husband I had originally made plans for our anniversary at another Italian restaurant but cancelled last minute and ended up stumbling upon Famas and decided to make an order to go to enjoy in our hotel room. Best decision ever. I can confidently tell you this was by far the best tasting pizza I’ve ever had. I’m so happy we found this place. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Orlando.
