Bice Orlando

Started with carpaccio of beef which was very tasty. Dinner entrees included gnocchi, spaghetti Bolognese, tomato ream pasta and veal picatta. Picatta was cooked nicely and gently with a nice level of lemon acid. Tomato cram was surprisingly light as the server had recommended, Bolognese good and solid, gnocchi was great and a large portion for my teenagee.

Our server Paul was amazing and made the meal even better! Thank you Paul. Also a beautiful dining room with great views of the Portofino Bay harbor at night and a quiet, romantic ambiance. This was our first time at Bice and I had communicated ahead of time my wife's dairy allergy. At my request, they prepared a special off-menu version of Chicken Parmesan (minus the Parmesan) for her, which was completely dairy free and delightful for her. They quietly made her the happiest she's been at a restaurant in some time with the low-key way they handled our special request. Just awesome and world class. I had the Capellacio with braised short rib, spinach and mushroom, and it was simply the best handmade pasta dish I've yet experienced. Salad and drinks were excellent; I tried the Italian Old Fashioned and a recommended espresso martini for dessert, which was the Cannoli -- everything top notch. Cannot wait to return and dine again. For us, Bice ranks at the top for service, ambiance and flavor on Universal property, rivalled only by the Palm.

We had a wonderful dinner at Bice, we accessed the hotel via the city walk by boat and the view when we arrived was beautiful! Upon arriving we were very well received by the staffs and our waiter was all the time friendly and suggested us the dishes of the house! My choice was the pappardelle funghi that was amazing! All the portions were well served and we were very satisfied, definitely come back again!
