We went during Magical Dining 2015. Great Customer Service! Amazing Salmon!! Horrible Filet Mignon Steak (Tough Med Well and Flavorless) with the Surf and Turf! The calamari was really good. One of the best I have tasted in Orlando!

This Isn't Red Lobster, Thats For Sure.... Well for those of you who have read my reviews before, you will know that I am not a "fish guy". In fact I try to avoid fish if I can! Its just to ummmmm, "fishy". Well all of that may have changed.
Last night a group of us went down to the Oceanaire Seafood Room in the heart of the tourist corridor in Orlando. The meal and the service were amazing! The worst part of the entire evening was that the Valet service was slow, but for a evening like that, I can deal!
The meal started with the Clam chowder. An excellent choice, if I do say so myself... I am a bit of a snob when it comes to Clam Chowder I must admit. When my mom was alive, she made a clam chowder that was literally a heart attack in a bowl, but it was good! Oceanaire's was a very close second! Good thing I had my cardiologist on speed dial! Next came the Tuna steak "Angry". Oceanaire, has "accompaniments" for all of their dishes. These are things like lump crab meat in hollandaise. Or hot peppers with siracha cause which add to every dish. There are many more to fit all tastes and they are excellent! Other in the group had the "Fish Stew", Very Good! Stuffed Flounder with Crab, Excellent! The "Rock fish" again, excellent. For desert the signature baked Alaska seemed to be a hit!. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so it is kinda lost on me!
The restaurant is very nice and the service was VERY GOOD. So often, you can go to a restaurant with great food, but just ok service, and it really detracts from the meal. Not in this case! the whole meal was exceptional!
Overall, If you are looking for a fish place...Its the best I have found in Otown!

We had dinner at Oceanaire last night and it was delish! There was seven of us that went for our evening meal. We arrived around 7pm with reservations and were promptly seated. We started with an oyster sampler of 6 different varieties from east and west coast. All were firm plump and juicy varying in flavor from slightly sweet to briny. We then followed with the calimari that was lightly fried, crisp and tasty. The beverage service was quick and kept us all watered and liquored up properly. We also shared a cup of the clam chowder and it was rich creamy and chocked full of clams and potatoes! The entrees were large, tasty and with multiple options on toppings or flavorings like angry(spicy) or Louie (crabmeat). We shared the triggerfish Louie and it was spectacular and topped with a huge pile of jumbo lump crabmeat. The facility was clean and fresh and the staff was friendly and paid close attention to our needs. I will definitely be going back next time in Orlando.

Absolutely Delightful!. Had a wonderful dinner here tonight with a friend. I arrived early and decided to wait for him at the bar. They have Happy Hour every day from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the bar and patio areas. I ordered an Oceanaire Mojito Martini ($6.00). This drink was delicious and refreshing. I recommend trying out their Happy Hour.
My friend arrived for our 7:00pm reservation so we then proceeded to our table. For starters, I ordered the Buffalo Shrimp and he ordered the Fried Red Chili Calamari. We both loved them. For entrees, I ordered the Grilled Florida Black Grouper and he ordered the Florida Triggerfish (prepared 'Dynamite' with spicy crab crusted on top). Both of our entrees were wonderful. The Grilled Florida Black Grouper was the best fish I have eaten at a restaurant.
The service was impeccable and the ambiance and atmosphere were perfect. This restaurant is a fine-dining establishment, so I do not understand why anyone would go here and complain about the prices. For fresh seafood and wonderful service in a fine dining atmosphere, you should add this restaurant to your list.
The Oceanaire Seafood Room is located on the first level of Pointe Orlando at the intersection of International Drive and Pointe Plaza Avenue (between The Pub Orlando and The Capital Grille).
Absolutely phenomenal!! We came out to Orlando for a family vacation and found this restaurant! My husband had the swordfish and I had the king crab and couldn't be more satisfied!! Kids loved their food too! Staff was super friendly and informative! I highly recommend this place!
Very good, fresh seafood!. Came here for a dinner one night while in town on business. The service was a bit off point, but the food made up for it. I had the flounder stuffed with crab meat and spinach and it was excellent! I'm not a fan of fish but decided to go out on a limb and this was delicious!

Wow what a fabulous restaurant. Great atmosphere, fantastic service and wonderful freshly prepared seafood (and non-seafood). Everything about our meal and experience was perfect. The place was not busy which puzzles me but this is not a restaurant that would attract the normal summertime Orlando (see Disney) tourist. You will not be disappointed!
Old school supper club atmosphere. Pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.
Food was excellent and service by Kevin Oppelt was above and beyond. Only complaint was with the two lady hostess at the door(if looks could kill, I would have been dead before my dinner even started)!
No better place for seafood. How can you go wrong with Oceanaire? We've been there for special occasions and just for evenings when the mood struck. Service is impeccable, the place is beautiful, the crowd is beautiful, and the food is wonderful.
Possibly my new favorite restaurant in Orlando. We tried several appetizers, by my favorite was the spicy tuna poke. Also surf and turf (snapper and filet) for dinner, and it was absolutely astounding. It's expensive, but highly recommend it. Only decent photo is the appetizer because we sat outside and it was dark/poor lighting by the time we ate the main course.

Service was excellent waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. You must come with an empty stomach as their plates are very reasonably portioned. The appetizers are shareable amount.
The presentation was great. Had a really great and satisfying dinner. So much so we had to take a to go box. You really get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend it for those seafood lovers.
They do have great steak selections if that is your preference. Oh and let me not forget to mention the wine my waitress suggested. "Dessert" it was absolutely delish. Name says it all.I like that it's close to everything should you want to hit the dance floor afterwards or just walk along I-Drive.
Wow! Just wow! This place is unimaginably amazing. Food, top notch. Service, impeccable! When you go, please ask for Richie (the girl Richie!) She will make your experience the best ever! She is super knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and respectful at the same time. Excellent seafood selection. Wonderful drinks. Too notch service. Very clean. I love the oysters and fried lobster. They also have my favorite seafood salad with lobster, crab and shrimp. I love it.
Our experience here was so good that we came back the next evening to enjoy it again. We tried different dishes on our 2nd visit, and they were just as outstanding as the first set. All the seafood is fresh and prepared exquisitely! The atmosphere was enhanced with fantastic 50's - 60's swing music. The service was right on the mark, always on time but never hovering. We might go back again this week!

Decor is simultaneously seafood-related and a bit of a throw-back: they have powder-rooms for ladies and gents.
Side dishes are great, especially the crab cakes, calamari, and octopus. Their seafood specialty seems to be the red snapper. The Maine flounder “Florentine” is great as well.
I had a amazing meal and a amazing evening. Drinks were mixed well and served promptly. Service was over the top which I absolutely love. Decor is beautiful. And the food oh my gosh out of this world amazing 👏. I will hands down frequent this location when I am back in town. Thanks you very much.
If you are looking for white cloth fine dining at its best and love seafood, look no further. The food was amazing and service you would expect. This restaurant is top notch. It was our 17th anniversary so we wanted something upscale and amazing, and it definitely didn't disappoint.
We had the oysters rock for our appetizer and wow the flavors. I would go back just for those, but it doesn't stop there. Drinks were expresso martini and St. Remy sangria. Let me just say that the sangria was the best I've had, it enhanced flavors of the seafood, and my wife was very pleased with her martini. Main course was the chicken fried lobster, it was cooked to perfection, and the truffle honey glaze drizzle was a very nice touch. The seafood salad, not pictured was generously portioned, my wife and I shared as an additional appetizer. We ordered the lobster mac & cheese as a side dish. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Food is good but compared to price is not extraordinary. We enjoyed the appetizers very much.
A excellent place. We came here for the first time to enjoy a nice dinner for our anniversary. The food was great and the service was superb! The server and support staff were very courteous, professional and accommodating. A variety of options and suggestions showed their knowledge and we appreciated that. We went for an early dinner at 6 pm on a Saturday night and it was rather on the empty side which was great for us. Their fish gets flown in daily and I have to say the food was fresh! If you’re looking for a nice place to go to for a fancy dinner and ambience… I highly recommend this place. Will be visiting in the future. A social thank you to the staff for such a memorable evening. 🥰
